Sadly, this is nothing when compared with how mean MN really is.

I like your theory. You could well be right and once the new front starts greying naturally they may ditch the dye. However they both have the money to have something better than that done. It's about definition on TV. Chris Evans used to dye his for the same reason.

My father in law does the same- we call it the Guy Smiley look (Sesame Street).

Ive seen tons of women with quite dark hair and grey roots, no one mocks them (quite rightly).

Feel so bad as I had the same thoughts. I also dye my hair (grey seeping in at my temples) but someone needs to inform them of basic rule of aging/hair dyeing is to go for a shade or two lighter than your natural shade. If they really wanted a natural effect, surely they could get a professional colourist to do it and blend in two+ different shades ? They aren’t lacking the funds, are they?

I don’t think this is ‘lighthearted’ at all. If two women sat side by side with the same colour of very obviously dyed hair, would that be funny? Or even noteworthy? It’s one thing to notice something like this and maybe pass a comment or two with whoever happens to be sitting with you, but to start a thread about it? That’s a bit sad. Making a public mockery out of someone. Obviously women get far harsher criticism and judgement than men (from both sexes) but there’s no need to be hypocritical.

Dec is definitely looking increasingly Donny Osmond. And Ant’s is looking weird too.

During the one show, they were talking about their new show. Video clip of the new show played (Dec had normal hair) then back to the sofa and it was so obvious that Dec’s hair was totally different. It was comical.

Graham Norton believes that hair transplants dont work and those celebs who openly get it done are just transitioning into wearing wigs.

But surely a wig would look better than these just 4 men dye jobs.

Though I think only Dec has the new hair and Ant has real hair, so maybe as part of the twosome he has to wear a shit wig.

And yes, if I dont know say Amanda Holden turned up on the One Show looking like she'd painted her head with a tin of matt gloss paint there would be a thread about it....they are millionaires
