Love them really, but their hair 😱 just now on the One Show…

I thought the same. WTF has Dec done to his hair, then looked at Ant and his hair was the same. They are older than me, I think 50 ish.

They’ve got the beginnings of the Paul McCartney ‘Penelope Wilton’ look from a decade of two ago. It’s very ageing, bless them, they’d be better off going silver fox.

I didn’t take much notice but my DH was pissing himself at Dec’s hair. Not just the McCartney red but the bouffant. Demi- Liberace style.

I know exactly what you mean. It's so awful. Why do men do this when they get 0% of the pressure that women get to dye their hair.

Women get nothing but shit when they DON’T dye their hair. Men are mocked when they do. It’s a funny old world.

I reckon Dec has a lot more hair these days when you look at old BGT episodes you can really see a difference.
But I’d say absolutely do it if it makes you feel good about yourself and we should leave them be - men often get mocked for dyeing their hair and making it ‘fancy’ but women don’t really do they?

My theory on this is that they have had hair transplants, good ones - and good for them. But that means the hair on the back gets put in at the front. That hair is then ‘browner’ than the surrounding hair which always goes naturally grey at the front. SO I think if they were to go au natural, it would be patchy?

Perhaps not but that was my hunch.

I always think this but loads of blokes on tv seem to have the same colour if they are dark, it's like there's only one shade of hair dye. It's really odd.

i don’t dye my hair and I’m sure the expectation has lessened on women.

I don’t think this is about them dying their hair, more about doing it well. Surely they can have some sort of streaking, highlights, a balage…(😆) - something that looks more natural. Their real hair is not one solid colour.

Reuse, recycle - a left over bottle from JT. 🤔 (and even he has left a little side grey)

Oh maybe there is a vat of dye somewhere just for tv blokes
