Yes. It's a very small, very old council flat, on a notorious estate, but it's warm and cosy and happy.

No, I think we made a mistake.

Yes. It’s a one bed, second floor new build flat in a London suburb, on a small friendly estate that’s both out of the way & an easy walk from the supermarket, gym, independent coffee shop & tube station, and it’s light, spacious & so well insulated that I barely need to put the heating on.

I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather live, even if I won millions.

Yes I love my house so much, everything about it. It’s a new build so I still have a few wee changes to make but I’m so happy here.

Yes. I love it so much that I buy it a present on the anniversary of the day I bought it (17 January). Nothing big, a nice candle or a throw or a small piece of furniture.

But I really do love it. It's a tiny, thick-walled cottage but I spent 30 years in huge house with no heating and being cosy and snug is worth the world to me.

No, it’s been a lot of hard work ever since we moved in ten years ago.

I like it and the location is amazing, but I wouldn't say I love it. I'm not sure I have ever loved a property or ever would. I'm just quite practically minded so the location and practical elements were my priority and it ticks all our boxes so it suits me. It baffles me a bit when people live in really awkward locations or places with awful schools just because they fell in love with a house.

It's a 4 bed/2 bath detached built by a private builder on a small cul de sac in a semi rural village over 30 years ago. We bought the show house but have developed and redecorated throughout to our taste over the years and now looks nothing like it did initially. 😁

Both DH and I have said we are only leaving here in a box.😁

We love our home, genuinely. Our decision to move here was purely rational, based on a sepread sheet of required and hoped for criteria, and we were even surprised when it came top because we weren't enamored with it at the time, could barely even recall it because we were looking at 10 to 15 houses each weekend. But somehow we fell in love on moving in day. Even the movers were expressing delight. Now, so many years on, it's still perfect for us. I sometimes have "nightmares" that we've moved for some reason, and in my dream I'm just so full of regret. I hope to live here until I either day or go to a home.
