My DH is camping out tonight for a fundraising thing. It’s just a bit weird him not being here. I’m finding it difficult to sleep.

Night. Shift in the plus side working and hour less.

The neighbours were having a party, and there was lots of drunken shrieking coming from their garden. It seems to have calmed down now but I am still wide awake.

There is nothing worse,
especially in the garden!

Menopause and husband told me to shut up today so dont really want to sleep in same room

Dh and I decided to have a drink, annual as this is very rare, started up listening to old songs ie. Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin, God feel really old now....

I've woken up with some phlegm trapped in the back of my throat that won't budge. It was initially itchy and now it's just sore... probably coming down with a cold.

DH has been away on holiday for the last 12 days and I’ve enjoyed having the bed to myself. Now he’s back, jet lagged, snoring, mouth breathing…. Argggh.

Just finished work. Also not impressed that I’m now technically up an hour later. 😁

Ah, the concerned mum club. I’ve just met a very nice lady out on the high street in a big coat looking for her v-drunk-with-a-dead-phone 20 year old son. That will be me in a couple of years I expect.

I actually forgot about the clocks going forward. I did look up a while ago and wonder where the time had gone! 😆

No idea, just woke up & guessed the time before I opened my eyes as being about half 6 for how well rested I felt.
Surprised to see 2:15 on the baby monitor then confused by seeing 3:15 on my phone🤣

Probably the most boring couple of sentences I’ve ever written but that’s why I’m up!

I slept most of the day. I've been doing it for about 3 years. I am just stuck in a rutt and the same old routine of working Monday to Friday then spending my weekends in bed.
I no it's not good but I feel stuck.

You sound exhausted so don’t beat yourself up, you clearly need the sleep.

3 year old just ran into our room and has a temp of 39.8

I feel sick and im trying to distract from the nausea

I had my gallbladder out yesterday. First time under GA. Got home about 8pm last night and went straight to bed, feeling very sore. Had pain relief at 11pm and woke up at 3.15am in pain so took some more but just realised the clocks went forward so I took it earlier than I should have 🙈 on codiene and paracetamol so should be every 4 hours but had it an hour earlier without realising

Another for the ‘concerned mum club’ here! DS and DD both back from Uni for Easter and out with old School friends. It’s crazy as I know they have big nights out when they’re away but of course I don’t know the details/timings and have learnt to put it out of my mind!

Pregnant and wide awake

I was like that all evening, was eventually violently sick twice and then fell asleep. Now awake, feeling better thankfully, but could do with getting back to sleep!
it was just so weird, came out of nowhere and really unpleasant

Met a friend at 11:30 today, she mentioned she'd left chicken out to thaw. Got home at around 18:00, noticed the chicken pack on the counter. Thought 'that's going to make me sick' but I'm pretty lax about food safety myself, it'll probably be fine.

Ate dinner at around 23:00. Guess who's puking now? Originally assumed she was thawing it in the fridge.
