Not my cup of tea musically but it was a huge hit, I'd expect everyone who likes music in the 80s would know it. Very typical of the era imo

Absolutely, I listen frequently, and newly-obsessed with their other well known track, I Ran (so far away). Recommend listening to both on repeat!

I'm the same. I wasn't so keen at the time but have more of an appreciation for music from my youth now.

One I did appreciate at the time as I listened under the covers trying not to be shouted at to go to sleep by my parents was Vienna by Ultravox.

1984 if I remember correctly. I had just finished my O Levels (as GCSEs were called back then), this song was on the radio all summer.

Still got the 12-inch single (and a turntable to play it on).
