And soft material... not the tough denim. Anyone recommend any jeans like this?
Not flared - not loose enough at the bottom
Not boyfriend jeans - too baggy at the top

I tried these on and they were quite good but they had a weird sort of pouch of material around the groin :(

ETA - I wouldn’t described them as jeans.

Edited

Oh that’s a shame. I had that with some M&S trousers which was annoying

New look adalae are a nice wide leg jean and pretty soft denim especially after a few washes

The M&S palazzo ones are a denim/lyocell mix and are incredibly comfortable, nicely fitted at the waist too but may be too much like flares for what you’re looking for

I think Levi’s cinch baggys are quite like this. I love mine - they’re a lovely lightweight denim.

The XL wide leg Levis are like this - you just need to try on a few different sizes. And they are voluminous at the bottom but I love them.

This is quite a good shout actually. I have this style in black chinos, but also bought a denim pair that I prob want to sell.

Levi’s 318 wide leg. Amazing. They are v soft and stretchy so you probably need to size down
