Jeans, quite fitted at the top but loose and baggy at the bottom

And soft material... not the tough denim. Anyone recommend any jeans like this?
Not flared - not loose enough at the bottom
Not boyfriend jeans - too baggy at the top

Softer material I've found comes from a mix of of elastane in with the cotton, and buying cheaper (& so, thinner) 🤷‍♀️

Feels like wearing joggers, fitted enough around the bum and tops of thighs to feel like there's some shape, but enough width around the bottom of the leg to feel like wide leg.

Don’t you want proper flare rather than bootcut? I just got the Reiss patch pocket flares. Super soft. High waist and fitted round the hips.

Dammit, I’m not sure Zara do the Marine jeans any more, except for kids.

The Maeve jeans from Anthropologie are similar to the Marine but more pricey. They do come in loads of different denims/other fabrics and different lengths tho

The Uniqlo drapey flares are like this, although beware the sizes are really generous and mine seem to have stretched so are now too big… 🙄

The blue ones look denim enough that I won't wear my denim jacket with them for fear of double denim-ing. The black ones look a little less denim and a little more like trousers. Not like joggers though.

I wear them to work so definitely not jogger like
they're just very comfortable trousers

The XL wide leg Levis are like this - you just need to try on a few different sizes. And they are voluminous at the bottom but I love them.

Not strictly jeans, but nice light denim material. Not tapered at all despite the description. Very comfy.

I tried these on and they were quite good but they had a weird sort of pouch of material around the groin :(
