I left some Chinese food on the counter top last night as forgot to put it in the fridge. It’s prawn dish. It’s chilly here overnight and I put it in the fridge first thing this morning. Would you eat it tonight?

Well, I was encouraged by the lose half a stone quickly comments, lol, but I had a peaceful night and can confirm I am totally fine with no issues whatsoever!

That can't possibly be true, haven't you read all the posts above about certain food poisoning? Clearly you must be lying, no one has ever eaten leftovers in the situation you describe and survived unscathed

I know, I was almost sure I was going to be close to death (or a toilet bowl at the very least). It’s a bit anticlimactic to be completely fine!

After reading about the man who left pasta out for a few days ate it and then DIED it's a firm no from me. Actually it would have been a firm no before. I have a four hour rule for meat or fish left out the fridge which I heard from a food hygeine trained chef, I'd rather throw food away than risk salmonella.
