Beautiful pasta bowls

We have now finally broken enough of our ugly chipped pasta bowls that I have an excuse to buy new ones.

i need them to be beautiful! Preferably colourful. Maybe with birds or flowers or animals on them.

Love Anthropologie china but they don’t seem to have pasta bowls that fit the bill currently.

Don’t mind them being a bit expensive but need to not be so much that I’ll mind when someone inevitably drops one in the sink and breaks it.

I've bought some really beautiful crocker from morrisons of all places

I like the Jimbob art ones, but they are expensive!

I didn't know people still bought portmeiron and wouldn't think to look there. In my mind they're in the same era as the eternal bows dinner service that was popular in the early 90s.

I love these, have the dip bowl version and they are stunning.

These are on various websites and £21 on Temu.

TEMU doesn’t follow UK safety standards… you could literally be eating off lead-lined bowls and not know it.

They are the same brand as all the others sites so why pick on Temu.

Because Temu is documented to not follow British safety standards… I don’t know the other sites. Temu is also known for copying designs so they could be the same bowls but different material.

I've bought a couple of (non-matching but similar) lovely pasta bowls from a local potter at a market, and will probably buy others in future - I feel happy every time I use them. Why not do that - they'll be unique!

Well that’s put me right off. I’d rather grate my own eyeballs than buy from Temu.

I love verano ceramics (https://veranoceramics.co.uk/product-category/bowls/?srsltid=AfmBOoo0zDl7Tj-fFNztPZdSqk5nG7GM5LyR5XidoWcyec_H7j-Ur9l0); I don’t have any of their pasta bowls but have a fruit bowl and a few serving bowls. They’re very pricey, mind!
