How many holidays abroad per year?

Family of 5 and we go away x3 per year.

Family of four. One every two years.

Each time for 2 weeks.

What is the point of this thread?

Family of 5, 2-3 times a year.

Twice in 48 years so I think that's 0.04 times per year.

Family of 2 adults. It varies. 3 times but can be up to 6 weeks at a time

I can kind of understand someone who can’t manage to get abroad trying to find out how often others go to gauge if it’s just them struggling…but this just feels like a blatant brag.

Once at most and that’s me on my own staying with a friend in Spain for a few days. Don’t really go as a family (just me and 19yo DS) as we don’t have anyone to look after the dog, so tend to do UK breaks.

Oh, we go abroad 52 weeks a year. 🙄

Family of 4. Only once, but we fly private jet and hire Necker Island for the whole summer holidays 🤣

A couple - we go abroad seven times a year (one is with adult DC).

I also go on a solo trip once a year.

This, I reckon

1 main for a week in the summer . And then usually a long weekend in France but that’s to visit family. We are 4 adults and 2 pre teen/teen

I'll be going on holiday 17 times this year. 5 kids. And we fly private whenever possible and strictly first class otherwise. All hotels must be 5*.

How naff having to hire an island, don’t you have your own?

We’ve had to massively scale back this year. We’re only doing St Moritz skiing, three weeks in the Maldives, along with maybe with a couple of European city breaks. We’re really struggling as we’re only earning £500K, which goes nowhere in London, and the DCs school fees have gone up.

12 times a year - 4-5 weeks each time. Gives us a break from the stress of modern living..

Yeah, well, I’m looking down on the poster who only rents an island rather than having an inherited one, as all the right people do. Standards!

Family of 4 about 6 a year. I knoe its a lot. Sometimes more but its what we value most. Travelling & seeing new cultures and family time ❤️

Family of 5. One European summer holiday and one long haul winter holiday. Both ten days each.
