I went to ask for advice on a journey and possibly buy a ticket to go on the jour. It turns out that I can use my bank card so I want to go back and thank the person.Would that be too creepy. I would only do it after the journey. The person works at the train station advice office

It’s not a he.

I’m pretty certain the person at the station is a she but for some reason OP won’t admit it.

There’s a whole load of stuff going on here.

Agreed. In fact, having encountered the OP on many of her other recent threads, I'd say this one's the tip of the iceberg where 'stuff going on' is concerned.

Yes, but lesbians have their own circles. That's why they have gay bars and other lesbian social events.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure they’re allowed out and walk among us without having a ring a bell to warn passersby. I had three lesbians around for dinner on Saturday night despite being a card-carrying straight married person.

SoScarletItWas · 09/03/2026 15:28

I mean there’s long distance relationships and then there’s this. Given that you flew to Australia the other day?

If a complete strangers totally asked me for coffee.I would say no

What’s the alternative… stalk them at work until they consider you not a stranger?

YourWinter · 09/03/2026 23:21

PerkyOchrePeer · 08/03/2026 23:26

Tell that to the person on here who suggested I asked him for coffee because no way would j do that

EBearhug had suggested asking the person at the train out for coffee - OP clearly says here it’s a”him”.

LittleEmily · 10/03/2026 01:43

Don't do it.This behavior is not necessary because the person may not remember you....

You literally said him:

The PP literally provided the quote where you said him. Seems like maybe you are forgetting lies?

Do you have a short term memory issue?

I can't think why you've been unable to find anyone who wants to date you...

Neither do I. I have 3 female friends who never have dates either.

I genuinely had to take a journey by train so I went to the train station to enquire. I noticed the person i fancied was not there. I took the journey today and went to the train station to buy my ticket, and again the person was not there. Either they are on holiday or off sick or have left the job.

I thought you said you'd forgotten all about the 'train station incident' because it was 'silly' and you'd moved on? Why do you need to 'enquire' at the railway station about a journey you're taking, anyway? Tickets, timetables etc are all easily available online.

Yes but when you have to go back then it brings back memories.

So are people on here. This can be a supportive place, but if someone fails to conform, they are perceived as odd and are bullied

I wouldn't call the beginnings of stalking a failure to conform

Nobody else is being weird.

You asked a question, were rude and stroppy when people answered, insisted you were over it, and then came back with a post that very clearly suggests you are not over it, days later.

When i was 17 i loved in a block of flats and a boy aged 15 from another flat fancied me. He used to watch me and if j sat in the communial garden, he would come out to chat to me. I did not fancy him. Each time I sat out I felt that he would cone and try to chat to ne. I didnt think of it as stalking or weired until one day I found a diary outside our flat and I picked it up and realised it was his. He had written things about me me in it, saying I was the nicest girl he had met abd that I was pretty . He asked ne if I had found his diary which he said he lost. I knew it wasn't lost but put outside my door deliberately so I could find it and read the stuff in it about me. I never told him I found it and key it for a laugh but threw it away later. He eventually got over me

He was fifteen. Can you not see the difference between that and you repeatedly finding excuses to make enquiries at the station?

The fact that you think this is in any way relevant is also weird.

Please don't. Anyone who's worked in retail will tell you this is creepy, and it's always totally obvious you're letching over them and wasting their time so you can indulge that feeling. It's really unpleasant - the person behind the desk has no choice except to be polite to you, but you'll make them feel really awkward.

retail manager here. Absolutely. Whenever customers do this nonsense it always makes the employees feel uncomfortable. Then I ask the customers to stop being inappropriate and leave.

This post is wild - OP you’re asking how you can thank a train station employee for helping you as if you want to express gratitude for their customer service, then you go on to say it’s a cover up because you’re attracted to them? I don’t know if you’re ND based on what people say about your other posts so don’t want to be insensitive, but that is weird behaviour. Please don’t do this.

According to a previous thread of hers, OP was told she had some autistic traits at a work assessment in relation to her being unable to cope with her job, but she refused to accept that she has ND traits and was angry and offended at the mere suggestion.
