Good morning from my kitchen spot...for the final time!!

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, and having breakfast, before I get a shift on & get dressed.

When I'm dressed, I'll pack the last of my things, then it'll be time to start moving 🥳. I'll also wake dd2 so she can pack the last of her things and be ready.

Takeaway for tea...obvs 🤣, and almost certainly a later than usual night on the horizon 💤.

Good morning @lucysmam and best of luck with the packing and moving.

I'm currently avoiding getting up as it is -2 degrees. I need to put the heating on for half an hour first, I think.

Then it will be a cuppa watching the birds outside on the feeders (through the windows; I'm not sitting outside im -2 temps!) Oh, and feed the cat forst obvs.

Make bread, make bacon sarnie, do some pottering about and tidying up. Crafts later with DD and I have also committed to watching Deadpool with her at some point today.

Shopping gets delivered at 5pm from Waitrose, so some nice treats for later.

So a day to myself snd I’ve got a meet up with friends later ,
Also dogs will get a long walk .

I've had one coffee and I'm about to have my second. Then I'll strip the bed and wash the whites before heading to Aldi. Then I will potter around the house, finishing housework and cleaning the kitchen cupboard doors. Enjoy your day all

I’m still recovering from surgery. Hope the move goes well today

I’m on a train to work. Sadly. But my dream day today would be….a long run, nice breakfast with the family, pub to watch the rugby, home for a curry and a good film.

instead I’ll work a 12 hour shift and hope my train home doesn’t get cancelled 😞

Heading to bed after a busy night shift. Hoping to sleep for more than my usual 2 hours 😭

Dh Is seeing Cam Cole in Glasgow .
Quite a small gig . He’s going with DS they share a love of punk/ blues and soul . DH delighted at least one of the kids has “good” taste in music 🤣

DH has just brought me a cuppa in bed. I need to deliver DD to tennis coaching, go to the gym and then collect her on the way home.

No idea what DD2 is up to.

Hopefully I’m about to get up and have a coffee and plan some shopping in town later.

I do need to wash the towels and bath mats though 😂

Good morning @lucysmam I hope the move isn’t too stressful.

It’s going to be quite mild here today, well 4°. I’ve been for a run this morning with our oldest, he did a pretty good pace, we only did 12k, usually he struggles with a steady pace at the start but he did really well today. Its my first run since last weeks half marathon, so it was nice to see my ankles and knees were okay.

We’re taking the kids dry skiing this morning, its a busy day so after that we’ll have a late lunch out, come home for a little bit to do nothing for a while then we’re back out to go and watch ice hockey at 5.

Hope you managed to find somewhere for you all? I know it's been very stressful.

Not much going on today, swimming all morning at different times for different DC then going to head to the library to change our books and the posh bakery for some goodies (I'll get some fancy bread for lunch and we are having a avocado and or scrambled egg on toast for lunch)

DP has some DIY to do, I need to head out to collect an order from M&S and grab a birthday present for a party tomorrow. Will get some fresh fruit too.

This evening will be spicy chicken thighs (a less spicy version for DP and DC1 who arent spice fans) with balsamic new potatoes, coleslaw and salad.

We'll decide later on a film for this evening.

We're off to offer holder day at Uni of Birmingham and then just relaxing!

Glad you have your housing situation sorted @lucysmam. I’ve got up and cleaned downstairs and DH made some coffee and toast which I am having in bed.

DS12 is watching tv in his bed, DS8 is still sleeping and DS3 is playing with his toys in his room. Nice chilled morning this morning. DS rugby training has been cancelled which is welcomed as yesterday was a bit of a stinker for us.

Our caravan site opens later this month so we are going to head to it today to give it a good clean and make up the beds so it’s ready for us. I can’t wait, the kids love it! There’s a really good chippy down there so I’d say well get something to eat there.

Home later for some Saturday night tv, sweeties for the kids and gin for me.

The plan was to have a treat breakfast of croissants as a bribe to get the kids to go clothes shopping before we go on holiday at Easter. Then 3YO DS2 was sick in his bed at 11pm last night so that's all off! Toast and cuddles on the sofa it is with extra coffee for me - he seems to have perked up a lot so hopefully he'll be ok soon.

Sat with the sausage dog watching I Am Tim on Netflix. Love his music but so sad.
We're waiting for dh and dd to surface. Its dds 19th birthday today so she's chosen going out for breakfast instead of takeaway later because for the first time on her birthday she'll be out with her workmates partying later. She's in the last 6 months of her mechanics apprenticeship so out with lots of blokes who will watch out for her.
Before she went to bed last night she popped her head round the door and said- there will still be banners and balloons won't there? Always my little girl!

Early one today @lucysmam! Sounds like it’s for an excellent reason ❤️ Looking forward to seeing an update.

I’ve hopped back into bed with a cuppa and will be showering shortly ahead of meeting my friend for breakfast.

Dogs will be taken to the woods for a good run and then off to the pub for my friends daughters 21st birthday.

We are off on holiday next Saturday so also need to start packing and getting toiletries etc.

I am going to be fighting with a teenager over A’level mock revision.

Was up fairly early for some reason. Had breakfast and made DS some too. DH is going into town with DS and dropping him off so will grab something then. DD is sleeping. I’m going to walk DDog soon.

Im meeting a friend for lunch today so will get ready after the walk.

This afternoon will
hoover the stairs which I have been putting off. I’m toying with a skip run.

This evening DD has a friend to stay. Need to think of tea. Snacks had already been purchased. Not much else planned.

DP out volunteering at his hobby today so I have the day to myself. Need to run a few errands in town, including doing a food shop and think I might make the most of an empty house with some batch cooking this afternoon. Other than that, just want to finish my book and maybe start the latest Bridgerton series with my knitting, as I’ve not seen it yet.
