Of course I understand why some people need to be tested, but these tests are and always have been unreliable.

If people are immunocompromised, then they should be getting tested properly at the doctors or arranged via their specialist.

Which world do you live in? You're just proving you know nothing about what you’re talking about, and making yourself look ridiculous. Stop digging.

Stomach bug obvs. Take some immodium

Bad idea. You need to let the bug pass through you.
Immodium is only for emergencies , eg travelling.

I was in a hotel in Spain. I covered all the towels & a lot of the bathroom floor with ghastly stuff from my gut. It was as bad as when I had campylobacter when I lay on the bathroom floor writhing around. The headache & runny nose are also clues. Amazon sells Covid self tests. Mine only lasted a few days & then I tested negative. Keep well hydrated & take analgesics for the headache. If you test negative for Covid, see your GP & don’t be fobbed off with seeing a paramedic or nurse. #AskForADoctor (BTW I am a retired hospital consultant doctor.)

Can I ask why?

Sounds like gastric flu: Stomach flu (gastroenteritis) causes sudden, severe nausea, vomiting (often projectile), watery diarrhea, and stomach cramps. Symptoms typically appear 12–48 hours after exposure and last 1–7 days, sometimes accompanied by a low-grade fever, headache, and muscle aches. The primary risk is dehydration.

How are you feeling OP?

I was achy on Saturday and put it down to a change in HRT and a few extra-long dog walks, but last night I couldn’t get warm and eventually was shaking with chills, went to bed early.

I’m eternally grateful I have no nausea but diarrhoea is off the charts! Still aching and hot and feeling generally rubbish.

I’m supposed to be packing for a long haul flight later in the week 😳 Not sure if that’s on the cards or not.

A lot better! Thanks for asking. Eyes still a bit sore and abdomen tender but normal poos.

I can't believe people are still taking Covid tests 😂

@TinaTwinkleToes you don't need a Covid test, you clearly know you are ill. Stay home, keep hydrated, and rest up.

It's clearly some kind of infection. You just need to ride it out.

Absolutely hilarious that people may have underlying health conditions that mean covid could affect them really badly?

Which wasn't the case on this post 🙄 Perhaps if you'd read my other comments before replying to me you'd see that I clearly wasn't taking about immunocompromised people.

Anyway. I feel a lot better but bowels still loose and some nausea. A few in work have gone down with it too
