do you think we rewatch stuff like this when the outside world gets a bit frenetic? I know I do - it’s like a hug in a series. I rewatched the Detectorists last week.

I had planned a sausage and white bean and leek bake with a crunchy parmesan breadcrumb top and a green salad, proper lovely comfort food.

But...I've spent all day with a decluttering lady chucking loads of things ahead of moving house and I'm completely wrung out, so we're going out to our local italian down the road instead!! Will do the sausages tomorrow night...

I have to watch FND - I've seen a couple of episodes and absolutely loved them but the kids are a little too young to get the humour still.

I had a surgical tooth removal yesterday so feeling swollen and sore! I had broth for dinner and wikl follow it up with an ice lolly !

I’m feeling awful thanks to what I think is a chest infection and I was tempted to get a Chinese and break my no takeaway resolution. But I’m not overly hungry and a lot would be wasted so I’m having pasta with chilli and lots of cheese

Is horrible grandma going to be there? Funnily enough, I saw horrible grandma in an episode of midsomer murders recently. She was playing a nun.

Not sure yet but I will murder my boys if they wear their shoes in the house as I’ve just had the carpets cleaned. I think I might put a note on the front to use the back door.

My daughter has been off school with a sickness bug since Monday (doing better now). I'm currently deep cleaning after dropping them to their dad's. Disinfecting my house top to bottom and then buying myself Korean BBQ!
