This outrage over banknotes is hillarious

Surprised to see Davey calling it woke.

Turns out he was right

The true definition of woke is personal to those who say it's woke, and ain't that the truth.

Flags on windy days definitely eat horses.

But then plastic bags in the hedges are obviously hiding dragons, so who’s to say, really?

countrygirl99 · 13/03/2026 20:03

And pigeons flapping out of bushes are descended from dinosaurs so could be a mini T Rex. It's scary being a horse.
I once had an early morning solo hack when my horse was spooking at every sparrow. The route went through a garden (used to be a farm yard) and the children there had left out a Shetland pony sized inflatable, multicoloured, glittery unicorn right by the bridlepath. He didn't bat an eyelid at that 🤷

Chancellor Rachel Reeves is to offer a package of support to households struggling with higher heating oil costs following the global impact of the US-Israel war in Iran.

In an interview with the Times, Reeves said she has "found the money" to help, adding the Treasury is also looking at "different options" to help those most vulnerable to soaring energy bills.

Hope Starmer tells him to fuck off

Just ignore Trump is my advice.

Give him the Kemi treatment.

From an international perspective who would want to engage with someone who posts this?

Me too. Trump created this mess. Trump can clear it up.

placemats · 14/03/2026 15:27

Starmer and his Government is clearing up the mess that 14 years of a Tory Government created. The UK has enough to do.

DuncinToffee · 14/03/2026 15:30

The UK has even more to do now thanks to Trump's war.

So do I.

But where is the press remembering how less than 6 weeks ago Trump was not only declaring the US didn't need allies, but that their allies were also shit ?

DuncinToffee · 14/03/2026 15:46

Maybe we can send Farage and his Chagos boat party?

Starmer missed a trick by not offering the US ambassadorship to Farage. Because no way would Farage actually accept (he is never ever going to take a role where he can be judged). And in the 1/1000 chance he did, then he'd have to give up being an MP (not that anyone would notice).

Instead, by not allowing imagination to do some work, he surrendered the upper hand.

He certainly is no Churchill.

Well done Ireland. Triple crown winners 🏆 🍀x

The start of the six Nations was a disaster, but Ireland turned it round.

Trump may be pushing Starmers ratings up more than anything else could.

placemats · 14/03/2026 17:22

I think Trump might be pissing on Farage and telling him it's raining. Farage will lose in the ratings war.

I think the war in Iran is short term bad for Farage because it's so idiotic on Trumps part it makes Farage's constant fanboying look worse than ever. But, if it does lead to global recession, energy bills going up, food prices going up that's going to be felt really badly in the UK. I don't think Rachel Reeves is perfect but even if she was the most skilled economist ever to exist she would struggle to steer the UK through it unscathed. Let alone deliver tangible improvements that people were voting for when they voted Labour.
And when the economy is bad people vote for new governments. When there's really bad inflation people tend to vote (far) right. Which could well benefit Farage. In exactly the same way the economic shock of Brexit benefitted him. That might be what he's hoping for.

DuncinToffee · 14/03/2026 20:16

Reform want to take an approach to government that emulates 'Trump 2'

All very well then for Farage whatever dirt is thrown to him? If another pandemic ever happened, and Lough Neagh is about to blow up by all accounts, would you like Farage at the helm.

Don't underestimate the disaster that Lough Neagh is. It's borderline catastrophic.
