Mine is amongst others that carbonara should only ever be made with long pasta, none of your penne, or fusili nonsense.

Big age gap relationships are wrong. If the younger party is under 25, and the older one is approx five to ten years older, it’s disgusting and there is always a power imbalance.

5-10 years age gap is of no consequence whatsoever in adults A big age gap is 20+ years to me.

23/29 or 21/26… disgusting ??

It's arse over tip, not arse over tit. Your arse goes over your tip - the top of your head.

Smoothies are fruit flavoured snot. I don't care how 'healthy' they might be.

Agree with many of the others on here, however I take issue with aunt/uncle spouses not being your 'real' aunts & uncles. My uncle Val was very much my real uncle - he was kind, loving, generous, fun and endlessly patient. I loved him dearly and miss him every day. He's been gone over 20 years now. 😢

'We' are not pregnant, one of you is. The female one.

Dubai is a soul-less, morally bankrupt charade of a resort that I will never ever set foot in.

Yes. This.

He was a paedophile AND a great artist. Just like Woody Allen. I wish I could separate the art from the artist like you but I can't.

Same with Rolf Harris

Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire puddings…

PithyViewer · 19/02/2026 19:31

It's "the" baby is feeding, not "baby is feeding."

"Make sure you are sitting comfortably when baby is feeding."

Like nails on a chalkboard!

Cats are fuzzy little annoying pests.

Until one decides to live with your adult child rather than on the streets, starts visiting 'home' first for Christmas, then other holidays...!

HarryGrotter · 19/02/2026 19:31

@Devilsmommy i think you have read my mind! Sliders and socks or crocs (with or without socks) should be punishable, preferably life in prison, they’re abominations.
and yes men are men and women are women. (And NOT effing cis)

You'd die FOR them? Extreme, but understandable.

BlimeyOReillyO · 19/02/2026 19:27

link to the information on organ failure? Or are you a sex therapist and the only person that knows about these extreme side effects?

A link? You are asking for a link? I am not spreading links around, I have zero credibility here. Go do your own research (that should include speaking to a specialist and/or GP, btw, with direct questions), but I would start reading/asking questions about the thyroid and pancreas, kidneys. And with that I have stated nothing, I am claiming nothing. Have fun.

Pineapple totally belongs on a pizza !😋

Is @exhaustDAD really saying that the very real health benefits of weight loss do not exist, or do not outweigh the potential risks of weight loss injections?

If I'm falling, there's every chance my tits are flapping beyond the point of my head (that's the old DObesity). It is very much arse over tit.

I would agree, @Sassparilla - with the exception of roast gammon with potatoes, peas and parsley sauce.

My husband was 22 and I had just turned 29 when we started going out. We've been very happily married nearly 30 years now and I can assure you there is no power imbalance whatsoever.

PithyViewer · 19/02/2026 19:38

Allseeingallknowing · 19/02/2026 19:28

5-10 years age gap is of no consequence whatsoever in adults A big age gap is 20+ years to me.

To me, a big gap is anything over ten years. And ten years is not ideal. Guess we're all different.

Apart from issues of power imbalance, I just think that gaps of 15-plus years are really really sad, especially 20-years plus. And don't get me started on 25 years plus.

Why really sad? One half is very likely to be left alone in retirement and the children will lose the older parent much earlier in life. The widowed party will not get to share in the joy of grandchildren with their life partner. The younger party might well have to give up many of their prime years to be a carer, and then to be left alone. The two parties will forever be at different life stages and they will not have grown together, because the older one did that long ago. They are different generations and their cultural references are all different. I don't think relationships with large age gaps can provide the solidarity and comfort that age-appropriate ones can. And how can you look forward to retirement together when one is going to retire quarter of a century before the other?

I think age-gap relationships are awful for the younger party, almost always the woman. They're great for the old man, though. He gets to shag a much younger woman and then she'll morph into a nurse. Bargain! 😡
