Flying and liquids

Ok so this is my first (myself planned) holiday abroad. Flying from London Luton. Whats the rules regarding liquids ? I have 2 260mls sun cream. Do I need to purchase smaller bottles??

If you are checking in baggage then you can put the sun cream in there so no problems. If you are travelling hand baggage only then you will need to decant into 100ml bottles. Unless Luton has changed in the last couple of months, it is not one of the airports that allows larger quantities of liquid in hand baggage.

You can buy and travel with larger quantities from Boots when you get airside (after security).
