what do you do at lunchtime? I've been advised to take it after every meal and its made such a difference even over this weekend. It comes in such a big bottle though and I cant think of anything small enough to decant it into.

Or do I just forgo the lunchtime dose?

Can’t you just take the bottle in your bag?

Misspacorabanne · 15/02/2026 19:01

They do smaller bottles op! Or the gaviscon chewable tablets work well!

foodtoorder · 15/02/2026 19:02

I carted a pint bottle everywhere in the last couple of months of pregnancy.

Now I take the tablets in my bag.

ASuitableName · 15/02/2026 19:03

Buy the sachets, they come in a box of 24 doses. I always have a couple in my bag

FuzzyWolf · 15/02/2026 19:04

Can’t you just leave a bottle at work for lunchtimes?

Livingthebestlife · 15/02/2026 19:05

I pour mine into a travel plastic bottle that I think are for shampoo. Doesn't weigh anything like the glass bottles.

Tulipvase · 15/02/2026 19:07

in my experience you can buy much better tablets pretty much any where now.

namechangeneeded234 · 15/02/2026 19:08

They have the dual action tablets that work really well.

PotatoesAreLife · 15/02/2026 19:12

It's a big glass one. Not very practical.

You can buy sachets of it from any supermarket or pharmacy. You can just keep them in your bag.

I didn't it came in sachets! Knew about the tablets but they're expensive.

Johnogroats · 15/02/2026 19:42

I swigged it straight out of the bottle when pregnant. Not needed it in the subsequent 20 years, but that bottle came everywhere at the time!

Omeprazole tablet once a day and you can stop the Gaviscon

Greybeardy · 17/02/2026 17:43

I've got a half litre bottle in my bag. It's quite robust glass!

TheFairyCaravan · 17/02/2026 17:55

Get the sachets. It works out more expensive though.
