Honest answers please- sex frequency!!

Hi everyone,
I’m keen to find out how often other married couples in my situation really have sex.

we’re 45 & 46, 1 teen at home. We both work in busy demanding jobs. I’ve realised that we haven’t had sex since June last year!!!!

how often are others in our age category etc having sex?

Both mid fourties, together 9 years and married 7. About twice a week but I would happily have it less, stops DH from being grumpy. Our libidos are way out of sync, so I have settled to twice a week. When we first met it was everyday so I feel like I ‘false advertised’ myself lol

I guess "frequently" is subjective!

50’s & 60, 1-2 times a week, was more but had so many bugs this winter, one or other seem to be sick half the time

Same age as you OP, been together 20 years. We're probably averaging about twice a week at the moment. (Although DD was away for a week with college last week so we took full advantage of the empty house)

It's a big increase on our previous frequency, which was roughly once a month. DP has never been capable of orgasm, but peri-menopause seems to have un-blocked something for her, so her libido has gone through the roof as a result!

Early ( partner) and late ( me) 40’s. At least 3 times a week. At a minimum once a week and every day on holiday 😅

40s. Once a week approx. I’d choose once every 2-3 weeks. He’d choose every 2-3 days so once a week feels like meeting in the middle 😂
