If I won the lottery I’d move to London, Chelsea probably.

MaggieBsBoat · 08/02/2026 20:52

Edinburgh. It’s my home town and I want to go back 😭

Chelsea. I’d love to live in a three bed terrace with small garden on a garden square just off the Kings Rd. Even better if it had an amazing friendly café on the corner. My dream.

Oh I do like how you've sold it there, that does sound nice, would you have any pets ?

North Norfolk

Seagroves · 08/02/2026 21:25

Crash pad in London. House by the sea in Dorset.

friendlikeme · 08/02/2026 21:27

If I won the lottery I’d buy a house where I live now (Oxfordshire). We will be priced out fairly soon I fear.

I’d love to live in Edinburgh

Why?

Braindraining · 08/02/2026 21:28

North Norfolk. I especially like Brancaster, the beach there is stunning.

I was thinking similar... I'd like to live in the same town as my mum.
I don't think she has any desire to move so if I did it would be Oxfordshire but really I wouldn't care where. I'd just like to be nearer.

We travel a bit in our touring caravan and we are always drawn to the south of the U.K. especially Dorset and Hampshire. There are so many lovely places up North too but I hate the cold and so would have to rule them out based on weather alone. If I could chose and had the money to move it would be to somewhere like Christchurch.

Rituelec · 08/02/2026 21:31

Skye

Fluffy40 · 08/02/2026 21:32

The new forest, love seeing happy families and the ponies

Braindraining · 08/02/2026 21:36

I love the New Forest but it gets awfully busy in the summer. Lyndhurst gets gridlocked with traffic queuing for miles.

I live in Christchurch and it really is lovely. Close enough to all the beaches, a bus rude to Studland or Swanage. Bournemouth beach is lovely but Christchurch is just far enough away from the main town. Id not live anywhere else.

Why?

Just beautiful, lots to do, love visiting and would like to have access to everything that comes with living in the central belt (I live a lot further north)

Spaghettion · 08/02/2026 21:41

When I was a child I used to walk past the most beautiful houses around the edge of Greenwich Park to get to school.
I live by the sea now but went back recently and I still think it’s a lovely spot of London.

Oioiqueen · 08/02/2026 21:46

Yorkshire Dales
Would love the brooding skies, small villages and just peace
