For me it’s:

people who think that Michael Jackson isn’t a pedophile.

people who say things like “Londanistan” “Bradfordistan”

People who say “If the Holocaust is real, why do the tattoo numbers only go up to 5 digits”

OP posts:

Anyone who pronounces ‘Th’ as ‘F’

Snob.

FlyingApple · 05/02/2026 18:23

When posters keep attacking one person and there's several joining in. Gross.

People who start threads which then provoke others to feel they have free rein to be judgey. All they have to do is list what they think, not give explanations and examples why!
Parents who are oblivious to the fact that their children are annoying others.
People who jump in immediately with insults on things they deem as "crackpot theories", refusing point blank to research or consider another theory apart from their own.
Needy people.
Holocaust deniers.
People who acquire and then get rid of pets like they're just throwaway things.
Fox hunters, badger baiters, hare coursers etc and their supporters.
People who cannot talk without inserting "like" or "you know" after every few words.
Likewise, people who end every single sentence with "know what I mean?"
Electric vehicle owners.
Women who still can't cut the apron strings when their children have fled the nest.
People who buy medications online that have neither been prescribed by their GP nor passed legislation for use in the UK.
Driving instructors who don't teach their pupils correct indication or correct use of headlights. I follow them all the time and it's ridiculous.

Just realised most of mine are politics related.

I tend not to judge things like poor grammar or spelling, slow reaction times, lack of general common sense as I'm aware there may be reasons for these things so I don't judge.

I agree. While I can't help slightly cringing (inwardly) when people don't know the difference between you're and your, I am also fully aware that I make lots of typos and most of the time it is blindingly obvious when someone means 'you're' but writes 'your'. I'd rather they feel comfortable and confident about getting their message across. Although obviously if it's a professional document or a publication, it
Is important to get it right - that's what proofreading is for.

transphobes

Islamophobes

Reform voters

Zionists

Brexit voting gammons

Tories

Republicans

Trump supporters

Katie Hopkins

People who watch GB News

People who are in denial that white privilege exists

People who think black people are racist against whites. They don't understand that it's only racism when there is historic power imbalance.

People who read the Daily Fail

People who thought Charlie Kirk was a good debater and not a plain old racist

People who think Jordan Peterson is highly intelligent

People who think too many people on PIP and too many immigrants are the cause of all our problems instead of looking at the billionaires who don't pay enough tax.

Only joking. None of the above.

I feel like that could be set to the tune of ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’ with a bit of rhythmic tweaking… 😄

'Adult Disney fans'

Yes, this. I used to work with an adult woman who had Winnie the Pooh everything - socks, umbrella, sweatshirt, pens, notebook, bag. It was weird and vaguely creepy

Reform voters
People who read the Daily Mail as a serious source of news
Anti vaxxers
Brexit voters / supporters
Pet owners who don't want the work involved
Parents who don't want the work involved

I tend to just assume that most adult Disney fans are probably neurodivergent in some way.

I have been told numerous times on MN that i am naive or 'full of shit'. I tend to conclude that people who launch into a personal attack (even a mild one) rather than present facts, figures and logical arguments are either lazy or not that bright. I enjoy a proper respectful debate, which takes much more effort than hurling insults.

ForLoveNotMoney · 05/02/2026 16:45

People who write ‘we was’ instead of ‘we were’.

This - see also:

’It needs done’
’I want even doing anything’ (instead of wasn’t)
‘Are Stacey’ (rather than our)

The instant I see or hear this I’m afraid I assume the person is poorly educated/thick.

alpenguin · 05/02/2026 18:34

People who moan on anon forums
about gym users walking on treadmills instead of doing very serious running

beebee25 · 05/02/2026 18:35

People who say myself or yourself.
Anti vaxxers
People who say 'can I get"

BowLeeBee · 05/02/2026 18:36

People who wear white gym socks over leggings. Looks dumb.
People who wear the massive black glasses in vogue now. Looks cartoonish and dumb.
People who have big feet (especially men with hairy feet) who wear sandals. Looks like Hobbit feet and dumb.
People who lift weights so that they develop huge bum and thigh muscles (mostly women). Looks dumb and cartoonish.

HarryMaguireSlabHead · 05/02/2026 18:37

People who think the Nazis were Socialists. (They weren't.) Said that to someone on Facebook who said they were, and got told to read a history book. 🙄
One of my exes was a flat earther and believed some ridiculous theories (among other things.) I'm glad I wasn't with him for long. He was lovely and a good shag but he would have driven me bananas, (he wasn't very bright, sad to say.).

They were literally called 'National Socialists' and supported state control and state intervention, which appealed to a working class base. Hitler repeatedly referred to himself and his policies as socialist and socialism.

However, it's significantly different to socialism in western Europe in 2026.

TorroFerney · 05/02/2026 18:38

Gahr · 05/02/2026 17:00

People who say 'spenny' when they mean expensive. Moronic.
People who bang on about 'Free Palestine' and 'Globalise the Infitada'.

On your last point can i add but are oddly silent on other wars. Not trendy enough perhaps?

Womaninhouse17 · 05/02/2026 18:38

justtheotheronemrswembley · 05/02/2026 17:29

Believers in homeopathy's ability to cure anything despite the absolutely resounding evidence it can't work.

Have you never heard of the placebo effect?

If it's the placebo effect, that proves that homeopathy doesn't work.

Onegiantpupil · 05/02/2026 18:39

Lack of critical thinking - people just believing something seen on Facebook or similar and not thinking about who made the post or why

Flat earthers - you can see the curvature of the earth from an aeroplane and also science!

People who think the world trade centre towers were purposely demolished by the US government - usually these people suggest it because they think the government needed and excuse to go to war, it was a horrific event and if the twin towers hadn’t collapsed it would still have been a horrific event - logically it doesn’t make sense to have demolished them

Bertiebiscuit · 05/02/2026 18:39

People who believe in God, fairies, ghosts, fortune telling, mediums
Women in the west who wear niqabs, headscarves, the whole "women must cover up" bullshit, women who make their girl children wear headscarves - obeying rules made up by men to restrict women is as stupid as it gets, especially since women in Iran Pakistan and Afghanistan are being killed for refusing.
Women who stand by abusive men "he never did it to me"
