True crime podcasts

Hoping I can get some recommendations..

I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts. Usually ones covering a particular case per episode or two.

I really enjoy true crime or interesting conspiracy documentaries.

Can anyone recommend any true crime podcasts series or one offs that cover just one case or event… like a deep dive over several episodes or one long episode?

Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a decent podcast about Amanda Knox/Meredith Kercher?

I don’t think redhanded have done one, which is my usual go to and after watching the twisted tale of Amanda Knox I’d like to hear something more objective!

Nothing to add that hasn’t already been mentioned but Casefile is not AI narrated!

I was a big fan of Redhanded until they did a case I knew quite a bit about and they’d got so many very very basic facts wildly wrong that it put me off, they used to be public about how much they earned on Patreon and for tens of thousands of $$ a month at the time you’d think they could pay a half decent researcher (or spend 10 minutes on google themselves). I lost a bit of respect for them at that point, but have recently dipped back in to the odd case.

Oh which case was that? I always think they come across as though they've really put the work in, and they're usually up front when they're not sure of the facts.

@WinederlustIt wasn’t actually the facts of the case that bothered me, there are always so many versions of a story that they’ll vary anyway. It was the location (Jersey). They started with a little scene setting and got it all wrong, size, population, distance from the UK etc. Really easy stuff to find out if you’re going to do that ‘setting the scene’ bit, and if you can’t be bothered to find out, just don’t do that bit surely?!
