M&S choc chip cookies

I desperately need a technique to stop buying these (the bakery ones), they’re so yummy. I’ve been super motivated this January with exercise but it’s making me think I can get away with with extra cookies! Is anyone else obsessed with them?! (Disclaimer: I do not work for the M&S food marketing dept - but I possibly should).

Yes I know of them and they are dangerously good

helpmearticulatethis · 22/01/2026 20:53

I too can smash through a packet faster than is acceptable.

atiaofthejulii · 22/01/2026 20:53

Change to the granola ones which are bloody delicious and you can pretend they're healthier?

bestbefore · 22/01/2026 20:55

The vegan ones must be healthy because they’re vegan?! 🤣🤣🤣

Those gingerbread and white chocolate ones are incredible

Yes they really are! I thought they were a Christmas special- are they still doing them?

roses2 · 22/01/2026 21:07

The chocolate chips shortbread bakery ones are amazing!!

MakeYourOwnSunshine · 22/01/2026 21:11

You know you can just...not pick them up and put them in your trolley? I do that all the time with the chocolate button cookies.

Pancakeflipper · 22/01/2026 21:12

They have the power to drag you to the counter... I am looking into having some kind of force field placed outside my nearest M&S that flings me back to my car if I approach the door.

Fingalscave · 22/01/2026 21:14

I didn't know about them, but now I do, I'll be in M&S bakery dept. asap tomorrow.

UnimaginableWindBird · 22/01/2026 21:14

The peppermint bark ones were stunning.

SunshineOnARainyDay · 22/01/2026 21:14

I work in an M&S bakery and bake those cookies every day! I can confirm that the gingerbread & white are gone for the time being but the speckled eggs ones are back next week!

HouseAshamed · 22/01/2026 21:15

Eccles cakes and cheese scones for me but I'm taking notes.

Gutted to only be hearing about this now, do these still exist?

ThatWasMyLastFatFreeFrush · 22/01/2026 21:27

I really miss the carrot cake cookies they used to do. They were in packets, not the bakery, but they were so good.

Disturbia81 · 22/01/2026 21:29

I used to go every day after work, so soft and creamy chocolate

Speckled egg cookies sound brilliant, if not the technique I was after to stop visiting the bakery counter 🤣

top treat in our house - not sure if that a good or bad thing!

Johaanah · 22/01/2026 21:32

I don’t like cookies, but the shortbread chocolate button biscuits are 🤌🏻

Good for you.

stripeymonster · 22/01/2026 21:38

The mint chocolate candy cane ones are divine and still being sold in our local one. Seriously addictive though.

Pernicketywishes · 22/01/2026 21:39

The peppermint bark ones 😍😍😍😍😍

SucculentWindowLedge · 22/01/2026 21:43

Are they the ones that have 400 calories each? You can’t outrun those. I love them.

I tell myself I only need to have self control until I leave the store. Then the temptation will have passed.

CoastalCalm · 22/01/2026 22:03

I always think they need to be baked more but I know the soft cookies are really popular

This is how I feel about pastries from
posh shops
