Has anyone seen his recent statement on Instagram? I actually feel very sorry for him.

I never said there was incest. I said I remember the comments pointing out things.

Both parents have come under fire for how they have behaved in photos and videos. Her with Brooklyn and him with Harper.

So it’s not just against V it’s both parents that have been called out in the papers and comment sections.

The comments about harper and David where also implying more towards his dislike of his wife and state of the marriage that he will be photos lovingly with his daughter but doesn’t even seem to want to touch V at all.

Being a happy family is all they have as a brand and that’s blow to smithereens now but there had always been the speculation under the surface about the state of things at home

Apparently, her liking one of his posts was being incredibly intrusive after he had asked her not to contact him anymore. And somehow that story ended up in the press. Although apparently it is Victoria and David who plant stories. I do think they’re probably all as bad as each other.

Apparently The Beckhams had been told via lawyers not to contact him

He cooked a Roast Chicken, Victoria liked it on Insta. This went against what they had been told not to do.

David has since done a Peter Andre type post about how much he loves his kids.

I feel this has been building up to an outburst for months.

But roast chicken is incredible to eat, but very hard to photograph. So she was probably just trying to encourage him.

Privacy doesnt mean shut up, go away never be seen or heard. You can have privacy in terms of wanting to show content you want to but not having images or videos that you dont approve posted everywhere.

It can mean never having kids in public on shown on am or it can mean I just wont show their face so they can't be recognised easily.

Its not black and white.

No different to the privacy settings we all use and set up on our devices and am accounts is it. You are offered a number of different levels of privacy not just private or public.

To give context, it wasn't just her liking his roast chicken, it was because her doing so unleashed hell in his comments, with people telling him to ditch his wife and reconcile with his parents and calling him spoiled brat etc.

I can imagine that would be horrible, I think in his situation I probably would either not have an Instagram account or would just limit comments on it. I wonder why he didn’t block his parents if he wanted no contact from them.

So he asked them to not contact him interact with him, and they disrespect his boundary and continue to bait him...

Award winning parenting right there...yeah right.

This is nothing surprising, his mother hasn’t eaten properly for 30 years to maintain an image! Hardly surprising she’s also tried to control family dynamics. Hopefully this will be the end of her highly malnourished career and fashion can move with the times…she’ll probably need to sue for defamation of character though first to earn back the money she owes Dave from her VB brand , when he had to bail her time after time due to it making massive losses …

What job do people expect him to get? His upbringing meant his education was awful (oh no it’s because he’s thick because it was always fun to say that about a teenage boy wasn’t it) and he won’t be getting money from his parents. Yes he’s married to a billionaires daughter but there will be a watertight prenup

Not that I’d win any parenting awards either, although obviously my problems would be slightly different 🤣

It's hardly a secret that David has had affairs, it's all over the internet, and the red tops at the time loved gossiping about them.

it’s all there … how controlling his parents are. They just care about money and nothing else. Victoria just cares about how thin she looks. I feel incredibly sorry for the daughter Harper.

In four words: What a Shit Show!

I don’t know much about any of this drama (they’re not significant people really), but it does seem to me that this 26yo doesn’t seem to have considered what his parents had to contend with when his dad was a famous footballer and his mum a famous pop singer. There was no social media then. You were hounded by the press or you did deals with them to give access on your own terms. There’s context to it that Brooklyn isn’t aware of because he was a child. He hasn’t learned that the world didn’t start when he was born. Nobody expects him to know (although he could have asked), but at 26yo you can expect him to have at least an understanding that he doesn’t know everything there is to know. Doesn’t invalidate his feelings, but he’s blown the whole thing up with this irrevocable step when it’s certainly extremely complicated at the very least. The consequences for him and his siblings and his future children are unknown but hardly likely to be positive. Just keep it private. Although I suppose neither of his parents would have a leg to stand on if they replied with silence or regret that he made this public. David and Victoria made a pact with the devil - and now they’ll pay the price. And what a price, losing your son. As for Brooklyn: god help him if he ever gets on the wrong side of the Peltzes. This is nothing compared to how awful they would be.

That's the point, isn't it. Despite Tom Bowers' book, despite the evidence of affairs and control, the media still love V & D and will mostly only print positive stories - which the Beckham PR machine makes sure there are plenty of, however superficial. So when BB doesn't turn up for his father's 50th birthday or for his knighthood they present it as BB being a petulant brat. Given how much negative publicity he's had since he got married I'm not surprised he's chosen to explain himself publicly.
