Wonder how many more people will do this when they become adults after being part of a brand during their childhood. All these influencer family types parading their kids about as an accessory when the kid can’t give informed consent.

It definitely sheds light on the rumours about the dress, the wedding, and why they renewed their vows. VB really doesn’t come across well at all, especially with the incident about hijacking the dance. It also confirms what many of us have long suspected about the Beckhams putting the brand above everyone and everything else, even their own children. It’s genuinely sad that fame and money seem to take priority over their kids. I always thought BB was just a brat, but it now seems more like he’s tired of living under the shadow of controlling parents.

I’ve just read the entire statement. Poor Brooklyn. I really feel for him.

This is what I took from those messages too. I don't recall seeing anything the beckhams have gone to the press about to complain / post about BB or NP? I've seen one of his brothers posts but I didn't thing either V or D have posted anything negative about him.

If he's anti family beckham / wants a private life maybe he should just change his surname and not post publicly on social media all the time either.. that would have made more of an impression / statement than what he's written..

I remember reading about the first dance thing as a ‘rumour’ in the press at the time of the wedding plus the dress thing so he’s confirmed some of those rumours. I can well believe what he’s saying about the Beckhams planting stories and controlling him. So if that’s the case then good for him for creating space.

I wonder how Brand Beckham will respond - if they do. I bet one of the sons will.

Obviously we all know there are 2 sides to every story but blimey - this doesn’t paint them in a good light at all.

It constantly amazes me how many influencers put their dc in the public eye - A listers don’t so much these days do they?

They plant stories. All celebs do it, when it says ‘sources say x, y, z’ usually their PR has planted the story as a rumour.

I say good for him! It’s about time too. Far too many people give people who go no contact with their parents grief without ever realising how bad the situation must have got and honestly I’m sick of hearing how the ‘wife’ is always the bad one controlling the prodigal son. These are grown men who make their own decisions and people need to realise that

It’s all very easily believable.

They do tend to show all as a unit. The dance and dress had already been posted previously. The way they all share each other’s insta posts like a cult posting. They all spout the exact same line.

It’s all been brand all about the brand. Same as they all wear VB even when it’s poorly fitting.

In most of the videos and posts it barely looks like DandV even like each other let alone any love. Just together for the brand while he plays away and she starves herself.

Typical bad in-laws always blaming the dil and in this case selling stories. Won’t meet up if it private only if they can sell the pics.

Not that it affects my life but that is really sad if it’s true that DB would meet up with BB around his birthday unless it was at his birthday party with 100s of guests.

Was just coming to post this! He didn’t really grow up in the insta generation but it shows how incredibly wrong these ‘celebs’ who use their children for content are and the potential for it all to come back and bite them, legitimately, on the arse.

Being the eldest he may have saw and heard things his younger siblings weren't privvy to.

Also why should he change his name it’s his.

They even tried to take that away from him and then posters are just the same about it.

Just like when women marry and don’t change their name it’s said it’s because it’s their name. Or when a married women divorces and the new wife complains she still has her ex’s surname every one goes but it’s her name now.

Beckham is his last name to keep or not at his wish. Not to be removed from him or forced to give up because people think he should to prove a point.

He already added Peltz what should be seen as a modern combining of the couples.

People knew this was it though didn’t they, he didn’t want to be brand Beckham any more which is fair enough.

I hope people stop commenting on everything his does about “you only have one mum, one family etc” and leave him alone after this.
