Given I'm very left handed, everything lives to my left. So now DP has gone to bed, in reach of my left arm starting from straight in front of me and sweeping left is the cat, a grey shawl, glass of wine, fags, lighter, pack of reeses peanut butter cups, medication, and the battery pack attached to my phone. I think I'm good to go.

Technically I can also reach his wallet and house keys, although not mine. I've got this.

A lamp, a christmas reindeer, picture of dd as a baby, a coaster, a christmas snow globe and a 20p piece. Not very useful in an emergency but at least the photo of dd will give some comfort as i could cuddle it and the 20p might buy me ....not a lot!!!
