I know, I know but mitigation is my mum volunteered at the local RSPCA and some puppies had been rescued from a brothel/drug house raid. All the others had found homes but this one was facing Christmas in the shelter. So she became mine...my Holly. We were best friends for 9 years until her organs failed.
