We are going to order in a Thai takeaway.

Sounds lovely, we hosted family last night for dinner so tonight its leftover salmon en croute, new potatoes fried up and bit of leftover veg with leftover apricot frangipani for dessert. I am having a total day off anything in readiness of xmas festivities plus i did all the cooking yesterday so DH is on duty for sorting out the leftovers 😄

Our pretend son (aka DD’s boyfriend) is making crispy tofu and noodles. The Christmas food shop was delivered today but obviously there was fuck all planned for tonight so he’s improvising.

Spaghetti bolognaise, kids are cooking 😊

Macaroni cheese (padded out with broccoli as I didn't have enough pasta for 4), served with boiled carrots.

Bacon and egg sandwich.

Chinese chippie. It was supposed to be ragu but after spending the best part of two hours making the desserts I promised I'd make for Christmas day when I was in a far more industrious mood than I am now, I've lost the will to live and cook, so chippie it is!

We are just eating the cheese board. The kids have had pizza but the allure of Camembert and fresh bread was enough for us!

Leftovers from yesterday - tempeh and veg noodles. No cooking until Christmas Day now (other than prep for Christmas dinner)

Jacket potato cottage cheese and salad. This is to balance out the ginger biscuits i had for breakfast🙄

Sausage, mash, Yorkshires and onion gravy.

I now need to go and get more sausages for the pigs in blankets, but it was worth it 🤤
