Still no receipt for grocery shop with less than three hours till it's due

I'm guessing that they're just busy, but I've never waited so near to delivery to find out what is, or isn't coming.

Checked bank and the payment is not pending, so they've definitely not picked it yet.

It's Morrisons and it does not come from a shop, but from a warehouse several miles away.

My plan was to get the receipt this morning then dash to the shops to get what was missing (as DH is home today), but I can't as I don't know what is missing.

I'm wondering if it's going to turn up at all.

I should have gone with Ocado, but I used to love Morrisons and found, as it was coming from a warehouse, that there would be less things missing. But recently their site hasn't allowed me to add things to the basket as it's out of stock and they seem to have less and less products available; but I have a delivery pass, so stuck for now.

What was the latest time you received a receipt before delivery?

I don't see the issue - if it's coming in under three hours, you'll still have plenty time to go out to the shops after it's been delivered and you know if there's anything missing.

Yep, I've looked on the app and the website, just checked my bank again and there is nothing pending either.

The app and website simply says order placed.

Yeah I get that, it's just that they've always sent a receipt several hours before.

I'm more worried that nothing is going to come.

Our receipt for our Sainsbury's order only arrived about 20 minutes before our slot this morning - like you I was getting worried but it was all fine!

There is no shop, it's coming from a warehouse.

You can't phone the stores anyway, you have to call customer service.

I’d be a bit worried too. Fingers crossed you’ll greet it. I’d definitely phone the help line now though.

Also waiting for a Morrisons shop early evening, no reciept or email. Was hoping to have one by now so I could get any missing bits already. Hoping it does appear!

It doesn't come from a shop, it comes from a warehouse and I dont have a number for it.

I'll wait till nearer the time then phone the customer services on their website, but last time I did they said they could only see what I could see.

You'll get one, don't worry. Sometimes you receive a receipt afterwards. They let you know beforehand about out of stock items or substitutions but the receipt comes later.

For your own peace of mind, check online that the order is firmly booked for later. I'm sure you've nothing to worry about.

I don’t think you’re getting your shopping either. These systems are automated if you haven’t been charged if you can try and drive to the shop and get what you can.

@Anonymousemouses i find with Morrisons they have payment brackets that correlate with whatever time slot you’ve booked. I’ve definitely had payment taken/receipt after this time - when waiting on an evening order (after 6pm ish) x

A few weeks back I was wondering why my Ocado receipt hadn't been received - usually comes at 08.00. Only on checking did I realise that I'd placed the order for 10 to 11PM, instead of AM!

Had something similar. I booked a click and collect. Nothing, email or text, by the start of the slot. Went into the store. They are behind, so will be ready 15 mins after end of the slot. I couldn't wait, but they are open till midnight, so we're collecting very late! But 11 of 47 items not supplied or subbed. Including milk.

I was worried my Tesco delivery booked for 8 today wasn’t going to arrive, as by 9 still no receipt or delivery, I checked again and booked 8 pm not 8 am.

I do click and collect with morrisons and I don't ever get anything until the time slot. I imagine it's the same for delivery?

Have you got the right date - another of my tricks was waiting in on say a Monday morning only to realise that the delivery is Tuesday!
