Still no receipt for grocery shop with less than three hours till it's due

I'm guessing that they're just busy, but I've never waited so near to delivery to find out what is, or isn't coming.

Checked bank and the payment is not pending, so they've definitely not picked it yet.

It's Morrisons and it does not come from a shop, but from a warehouse several miles away.

My plan was to get the receipt this morning then dash to the shops to get what was missing (as DH is home today), but I can't as I don't know what is missing.

I'm wondering if it's going to turn up at all.

I should have gone with Ocado, but I used to love Morrisons and found, as it was coming from a warehouse, that there would be less things missing. But recently their site hasn't allowed me to add things to the basket as it's out of stock and they seem to have less and less products available; but I have a delivery pass, so stuck for now.

What was the latest time you received a receipt before delivery?

I got my Asda receipt after my shopping was delivered today... which is unusual as I normally get it a couple of hours before.. I had no emails nothing till after.

I've just had an email to say it is on it's way, with only one substitute. Hooray!

I had a christmas waitrose shop a couple of years ago that didn't arrive due to a glitch in their system. Was a nightmare, but I got some John Lewis vouchers out of it. Hoping all is OK with your shop OP, keep us up to date...I feel emotionally invested in your delivery now!

Yay! 🥳 I used Morrisons to deliver the food shop and we only had one substitute too! Cans instead of bottles of Stella! I’m very happy too! 👏

I got a text with my missing items from Ocado 4.5 hours before delivery today. Luckily I won’t miss the missing items so I’m not bothered.

I was worried when I first saw it, but it's just a 4 pack of small Dairy Milk instead of a 7 pack

Each store has a differenet policy as to when they charge your card. I have a regular early slot on Tesco and they usually do it about an hour before the goods leave the depot. Sometimes its later. Occasionally I dont get the "receipt" email.

You are lucky, I popped to Morrisons earlier and it had been decimated! Not a carrot or sprout in sight!
