I'm amazed it was to do with women, tbh, but not surprised it happened at all.

This. I’ve always found him creepy but genuinely thought he was more about the boys.

edited to add - on reflection, the campness/is he gay could be a way of hiding in plain sight wrt his lecheryness towards young women 🤔

To me he has always come across as a creepy sexual deviant/perv rather than a gay man. Just really slimy and makes your skin crawl, that kind of thing.

What did Jack Monroe say about him? I don't remember that.

Google both of their names, it will all come up- here’s one link:

Always knew he was a wrong 'un.

I said a previous thread a while back that, when all the scandal about Huw Edwards broke, before it was revealed who the celebrity was, I was fully expecting to be Walliams. Well, it was only a matter of time.

In Millionaire Boy, the twelve-year-old protagonist has a 24-hour female masseuse.

WHAT. THE. FUCK.

What the hell was Harper Collins thinking??????

Sorry yes, I should clarify - I mean a gay predator not a gay man per se

Ah, lovely news, the fact anyone bought his racist offerings always surprised me.

Did he even write them? I thought that he might have had a ghost writer?

Spookyspaghetti · 19/12/2025 21:20

He was once in a Stephen Poliakof tv drama called Capturing Mary where he played a social and emotional vampire. It’s the only serious role I remember him taking and I was impressed at the time with his portrayal of the mysterious, soulless character. After the BGT allegations, and with the rumours on here, it seems he was just playing himself.

If you scroll to 3:12 in this video of the pet shop boys on top of the pops in 1994 you will see David Williams camping it up big style well before he was famous, and at a time when you just didn’t do that unless you were actually gay.

i think he’s either bisexual or so far in the closet he has to treat women as total sex objects to try and keep up the pretence

sorry, link:

TickyTacky · 19/12/2025 21:32

There have always been rumours of him being inappropriate and harrassing women, so it makes me think that this is something bigger/ different. His podcast with Matt Lucas just suddenly stopped as well.

Bulbsbulbsbulbs · 19/12/2025 17:55

I've said this before on here. I knew him socially. He was vile. Sneery, not interested in people unless they were famous. Honestly have never felt so small in my life. The way he looks at you is just awful.

I can't remember when it was- maybe 15 years ago- the News of the World ran an expose of him (with videos online) in a private room of a lapdancing club. He was wanking. He'd bribed the security guard to let him go into a private room.

If you look for those videos now, or any trace of this story, it's gone. Nothing. He has obviously found a way of getting this removed.

Always knew he was a wrong 'un.

Gawd that sounds totally how I'd expect him to be. TBF though all articles from NOTW have pretty much vanished, I'm not sure it's fully down to him suppressing it. But yeah he's so arrogant and vile. I think he has quite a severe personality disorder and almost seems like he could be dangerous.

I feel so sorry for his kid.

I think something quite big is about to come out against him….like some sort of police charge. The daily mail have been running some odd pieces about him recently, along the lines of his lonely life/xmas. Which is an unusual story for someone pretty much not in the public eye now. Really emphasising how Simon Cowell no longer follows him on social media. They sometimes do this when they know something else is brewing but cant yet break the story.

I think you are right, but over in Daily Mail world practically all the comments on this latest news are all banging on about "the woke" and "cancel culture" and "witch hunt" . I have always found him a bit "off" which of course is neither here nor there, but I am sure there is more to come. Feel sorry for his child (son?), this must be horrible

Who did not expect this? It has been known for years.

I was just trying to remember what that was called, it made a deep impression on me and i always think about it whenever there is a negative story about him.

Omg is that what greggie is trying to claim?

Yeah, he said something like "I have sensory issues with underwear, and that's why I had to walk around in front of women with my dick exposed"

VivaDixie · 19/12/2025 21:46

Gerbera55 · 19/12/2025 18:17

Parents who are grateful their child is reading something, parents who don’t know what he’s actually like, schools who encourage their pupils to read his books cause SLT/teaching staff just want children to read…

I recommend that all parents look at what books their children are reading at school! Neil Gaiman’s ‘Coraline’ is popular in UKS2 as a class text and I see many class libraries stocked with Walliams’ books.

I hate to admit it but this is us. I never liked him but didnt know the rumours at that time. DS is now 16 and was reading these from about age 7. School were encouraging it -he has all the books and refuses to bin them even now - for 'nostalgia innit'

It makes my skin crawl every time i see them tucked away in the back of his bookshelf.

He takes more notice of instagram than me so fx its all over there

His fourth wife in case anyone confused which one 😂😂😂

just marrying someone who’s already got it wrong three times is mind blowing

I'm a bit surprised as I thought he was gay - wouldn't have been surprised if it was inappropriate behaviour towards boys though, I suppose.

I think he is the sort of person who gets a kick out of the powerlessness of his victims and that their sex is irrelevant

Georgiepud · 19/12/2025 21:50

I'm no snob, but DW was one author my daughter was told by her school not to mention at her 11+ interviews.

Because of both poor content and poor writing skills.

(googled it) Correction: he was naked apart from wearing a sock on his erect dick. Not much better.

The way he wrote about his autistic son was horrible too.

Yes this could well be true. I don't know enough about him really, just that I found him unlikeable and couldn't see the appeal of his books.

PrincessScarlett · 19/12/2025 21:57

My local primary refuses to stock DW books. I was pleasantly surprised.

The ones I have read are badly written and have quite inappropriate parts. As well as the female masseuse in Billionaire Boy I also recall the dad having a page 3 girl as a girlfriend and lots of comments about her clothing and body. Totally inappropriate when very young children are reading these books.
