Same. Also noisy eating, nail picking, tapping, teeth licking, etc. etc. etc. Can't you tell I have misophonia?

Teenagequeenwithaloadedgun · 03/12/2025 12:56

That beeping sound lorries make when they reverse, leaf blowers and noisy chewing.

minipie · 03/12/2025 12:57

Newborn screaming. Not having a little whinge but proper full on WAAAH, can’t be comforted screaming. Literally makes me shaky and feel a bit sweaty and ill.

shellyleppard · 03/12/2025 12:58

Squeaky brakes on cars, cutlery when it screeches, children screaming for no reason....

yawnyawnyawny · 03/12/2025 12:58

Someone running their fingers along the teeth of a comb.

BeautifulSongsofLove · 03/12/2025 13:13

People (men) whistling, idling car engines

Medexpert · 03/12/2025 13:20

Definitely kids shricking 😏 usually around 4yo.

FieldOfBeans · 03/12/2025 13:29

Polystyrene. Even just thinking about the sound and feel of it makes me shudder.

Velveletteslonleylonelygirlami · 03/12/2025 13:30

Chalk on a blackboard ..mind I'm hardly going to encounter that I left school 44 years ago.

HangryBrickShark · 03/12/2025 13:34

How the assistants in Aldi slam the crates around when unloading veg and bread, one on top of another. So loud and so unnecessary.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 03/12/2025 15:41

Mil and sil voices

OrdinaryGirl · 03/12/2025 15:42

Dogs screambarking. Don’t mind dogs. Don’t mind barking. But screambarking makes me want to run amok on a killing spree.

giaTTC · 03/12/2025 15:43

Snoring

TigerRag · 03/12/2025 15:44

Me too.

Chairs or stools being moved on a slate floor.

PaulineMush · 03/12/2025 15:59

People who do podcasts with dry mouths. All you can hear is the horrible clicking and crackling of their mouths.

Also people crunching poppadums with their mouths open.

Shitzngiggles · 03/12/2025 16:02

Children shrieking. Just why do it and why don't the parents stop them?

HornyHornersPinger · 03/12/2025 16:02

Supermarket delivery vans when they reverse, makes me wanna rip my ears off

Everintroverte · 03/12/2025 16:05

Tapping, clicking, noisy eating, sniffing, other people's phones on loudspeaker, anything repetitive, my partner's CPAP machine whistling and whoosing air in the night.

Just all sounds really.

Mollypolly2610 · 03/12/2025 16:46

Squeaky guitar strings. Can't stand that noise.
My neighbours dog barking at 6am every morning.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 03/12/2025 17:39

People doing that revolting ‘snorty’ sniffing.

HomeStress · 03/12/2025 17:40
