First the long top curved piece, then the long bottom, then the 2 sides and finish with the middle.

I've done it for as long as i can remember. I have a terrible overbite so make a right mess trying to bite into things. Sandwich filling ends up everywhere.

Although thats not really a reason why I do it this specific way, now I think about it

I could actually get on board with cutting and eating it like that as it leaves the best, most filled bit in the middle for eating last. (I'll ignore the fact that you could obviously eat the sandwich to leave the middle bit for last without the faffy cutting). But good grief woman - get a sharp knife!
