Only joking! If I have to see another thread from some selfish fucker moaning about other people having seemingly more than them, I'm going to rip my eyes out. Pay your fucking taxes and stop being so selfish! Or quit your job and go on benefits then if it's such the high life.

I have been on benefits twice in my life, once when my husband left me with a young baby and once when I had severe mental heath problems. Both times I was bloody skint, stressed, couldn't afford to eat properly and it was awful. Both times I did every thing I could to find work, recover and get back to earning and paying my way. I do not doubt that a minority may be on the take, but I don't know how they do it as I had to jump through hoops to claim, found it embarrassing and was so happy when I could stop claiming.

Can't even have more than £16k to qualify ? I mean, everyone has a lot more than that surely ?

Yes everyone does. Food banks are just for if you can’t get to Waitrose.

Yes, that's how we see it. Can get some good stuff now from foodbanks, much of it donated by the aforesaid Waitrose, and M&S, Sainsburys etc.
