What is your height and weight and what size clothes.

I am very curious about this.. because l read that some women who are the same height and weight as me.. say they are a much smaller dress size.. l know different stores etc vary ..
I am 5ft 7 ..l was 20 stone last year and a size 28.. ( l do have large breasts) l have lost 5 stone (15 st) and now a size 20.. but l keep seeing on the net in mounjaro groups etc .. that people of my height and weight are saying they are a size 16...
When l was younger l was always around 9st to 9 and half and size 12...only put a stone on with both daughters and soon lost it.
Age 38 had a total hysterectomy and went to 12 stone size 14 and stayed there for years until my accident and broke both hips and pelvis 12 years ago and the weight went on and on.
With mounjaro ive lost 5 stone and can now have my new hip. I'm age 67 ( well will be this Friday) .

I did weigh 11 stone which was too heavy for my height and build so lost 3 stone but I felt too thin at 7 stone 11lbs, so I’m settled at 8 stone 4lbs.

I am between a 12/14 on the bottom, closer to a 14. And probably a 12 on top.

Just above my recommended BMI weight.

Everyone carries their weight differently and would depend where you buy your clothes from. A size 20 in one shop would be a size 16 in another.

At that weight I'd have been a comfortable 12, maybe a 14 here and there in the likes of Zara. A 16 would have drowned me. What body shape are you? I wonder if you are an apple.

I'm 12st and 5ft3 with an hourglass shape and absolutely no way would I fit into a 14 in Zara, nor a 12 anywhere else.

It's amazing to me how different we all are when you compare height, weight and clothes size. I'm 4" taller than you, weight 1 and a half stone less, but also wear size 12, or even size 14 in trousers.

By that logic, my diet has let my height down 😂

I'm 5ft 9. When I was 12 stone, I was a size 16.

5 foot 5, 10 stone, size 12 mostly but size 10 skirts.

This thread is fascinating.
I often see people on here who are shorter and heavier than me who say they are a size 10 or 12.
My weight hasn't changed in 50 years.
I'm 5'8" 9 stone 9 and take size 14 clothes. I do Pilates and weights so that's not a factor. I wonder how much difference breast size makes? Mine are tiny so don't weigh much I guess.
I don't like tight clothes and don't care what size the label says. I'll buy a size 16 or a 12 if they fit but mostly a 14.

I’m 5’ 7, 9.5 stone, clothes size 8-10/small/medium, all depends on where I’m buying clothes from really.
I’ve been on MJ for just over a year. Started at 16st, clothes size 18. Just checked back through my scales app, at 14st i was in size 14 clothes.
I’m actually a lot more narrow in the shoulders than I thought I was but I’m quite hip-py.

54.5kg (8 stone 8ish) five foot 7 and size 8/10 on bottom half and 12 on top.
At 13.5 stone I was a size 18!

I have lost 4 stone stone in weight over the last year and currently weigh around 55kg. I am 5'6 and in my 40s and I am a size 8-10 and sometimes a small, others a medium in clothes. I have quite small boobs but do have broad shoulders. I have never been very skinny and was a 14/16 weighing 13 stone before.

I find the composition of people's bodies so interesting - I'm the same height and weight, size 12-14. I was easily a size 20-22 at 110kg.

BTW I have lost almost 5 stone this year (mostly on Mounjaro, some on Wegovy) I'm about the same weight as I was before I had my children but my shape is VERY different. I used to be quite hourglass-shaped, with very big boobs - boobs still big but now saggy af, and I carry all my weight in my belly. I never thought I'd have skinny legs, but now I'm a bit barrel shaped!

I will say that vanity sizing is absolutely mental - I have jeans I bought ten years ago, size 16 that are tight on me - but I bought some the other day, size 14, and they're too big. Forty years ago I'd be an 18 and would have been off the charts at my highest weight!

You are right at the point that it starts to show. Half a stone and you’ll be a 16 I bet.

5'7", 10 stone 5. Shape definitely has a lot to do with it. I'm big of boob and hip and small of waist so sometimes take a 10 if the bust is generous and the garment is not fitted on the hips but am usually a 12 with an ill-fitting waist.
