What is your height and weight and what size clothes.

I am very curious about this.. because l read that some women who are the same height and weight as me.. say they are a much smaller dress size.. l know different stores etc vary ..
I am 5ft 7 ..l was 20 stone last year and a size 28.. ( l do have large breasts) l have lost 5 stone (15 st) and now a size 20.. but l keep seeing on the net in mounjaro groups etc .. that people of my height and weight are saying they are a size 16...
When l was younger l was always around 9st to 9 and half and size 12...only put a stone on with both daughters and soon lost it.
Age 38 had a total hysterectomy and went to 12 stone size 14 and stayed there for years until my accident and broke both hips and pelvis 12 years ago and the weight went on and on.
With mounjaro ive lost 5 stone and can now have my new hip. I'm age 67 ( well will be this Friday) .

Size 14...can still get into some of my size 12 clothes.
But I swear my 34H breasts probably weigh a stone each

No idea what my weight is as I’m scared to look, but I’m 5ft 7” and have recently edged into a size 16. I was a 14 for a long time before that, which people didn’t seem to believe. SIL lent me her size 12 maternity clothes because apparently I was ‘thinner than her’ and they would be grand on me. Nope. I could barely get them on. Same in reverse when another SIL was pregnant. She asked if I had any maternity clothes to see her through the last few weeks. She assumed I was a similar size to her. So did I, to be fair. My clothes were fecking enormous on her. I think I might be an optical illusion🤣 In seriousness though, I have a thin face and longish neck, so people seem to assume that this aesthetic continues all the way down. It doesn’t!

Im a 12 -according to a tape

But im a 14 in Zara, an 8-10 in M&S and anything in between on websites!!

I won’t online shop for this reason, totally unreliable! Why can’t sizes reflect an actual tape measure!! Why can’t I know I’m a 12 wherever I shop?

They’re not smaller than you, they’re shopping in different places 😂😂

It’s down to your body shape.

I’m 5’9 and 90kg and I’m a size 16 comfortably, nearly a 14, but I’d rather have extra room than things feel tight.

5ft 7, 12st, size 12-14.

I’ve got heavy bones! I’m 5”1, 16 stone and a size 16.

before you ask, yes all my clothes are 16, I have one pair of jeans that are an 18, but they have about an inch of waistband room and they’re from primark! and a cord skirt from next that’s an 18 which I have enough room to tuck a chunky jumper into

All my underwear, leggings, dresses etc are 16, and I vary between a medium and large in jumpers/t shirts. Bra size is a 36F

7yrs ago I lost 2.5 stone and I was a perfect 14 then. Unfortunately peri and menopause has made me gain weight and I have put it all back on again (almost). I have large boobs, always have done (38H) but now the belly is almost as big as the bust.

165cm / 5’5 and a half tall, 9’10lb I’m between a size 10-12.

Ooo this reminds me of when I lent my favourite dress to a friend. I couldn't fit in it once I hit 10.5 stone, she was almost 12 stone, smaller than me in height and fit in it perfectly.
I used to be soo skinny as a kid, like skeletal arms and legs but was still a size 12.
I'm 13 stone now, size 16 on bottom, 14 on top, about 5'7, so wish I could fit in that dress again! X

I'm 5ft 6in. 12 stone 5 and a size 16-18.
I also cannot understand how some people claim to be a 12-14 at the same height and weight as me and can only assume they wear their clothes very tight.

I am 5ft 7. I was 20st at the start of this year and have never been a size 28. I was a 22-24.

I have also lost 5 stone (nearly) and bought a dress last week for NYE which fits perfectly and is a size 16.

it’s all about where you carry your weight and what style of clothes you are buying.

if I try to buy button down shirts or blouses I would easily be a bigger size. Same for blazer type tailored jackets. As I have broad shoulders and a large bust.

remember also that muscle weighs more than fat meaning someone with a higher muscle to fat ratio than you could weigh the same but be significantly smaller.

I am 10st 5, 5' 6" and a size 10, occasionally an 8. I lift alot of weights, tend to carry weight around my belly

5’4 12st and a size 12 on top 12/14 bottom depending on where they’re from.

I'm 5ft 6. Weigh 9st 10lbs. Wear a size 8 - 10 depending on the shop.

I'm 5ft 6" and before I started using Mounjaro I was 12st 8lbs and was never mire than a size 14 and often a size 12. But I'm very small boned with narrow shoulders and hips.

I think there are so many variables,body composition,shape,frame size and how a person likes their clothes to fit eg: very fitted/tight fit or a more loose fit.
Also,i still think stores sizing varies considerably.
I do check brands sizing guide/measurements because they vary .
Im 5 ft 7 and 68kg, i have a 41 inch bust measurement,band size 34 inches, size 8 feet and large wrists and head, i generally choose a size 16. from most brands. I could fit in a size 14 but prefer a looser fit.

About 9.5 stone, 5 ft 10.
Sizes vary massively, but I'd say I'm most often a small or a 10. Although some shops' 10s are huge and some are tiny.
I also have a jumper I just tried on as I'm deciding whether to sell it, from Whistles, size 12 apparently but, although it's a relaxed fit round my (narrow) torso, the sleeves are quite slim. And I don't have fat arms

My main issue is my narrow torso/ribs and quite small waist (about 27 inches, sometimes 26) versus my long arms and legs. If anyone says 'they make clothes for tall slim women', it's not true – I always have to choose between something that's a nice close fit on the body but the sleeves/legs are halfway up my arms/calves, or something with sleeves or legs long enough that's about two sizes too big round the body. I sometimes buy men's jumpers as the sleeves are longer.
I also have quite broad shoulders in relation to my waist and torso, which again can be an issue if I go for smaller sizes as they seem to be cut for women with very narrow ones.

5ft 3, 17 stone size 20-22

165, size 8. Won't say weight as it's too low so not healthy.
