Are we still hanging washing out ?

I’ve always hung out washing I don’t have a dryer but whilst hanging out today in the FROST I thought is this pointless?! Do people still hang out in this kind of weather - it briefly snowed here yesterday and is very frozen ground today but it is sunny now …?

I hang my washing out all year round as long as it's not actually wet and there is a breeze. In winter I finish drying it inside on a clothes horse overnight.

I was invested in this question! I think it starts feeling damp around 3-4pm on even a sunny winters day and make sure i get washing in by then. Was surprised to hear 5pm was fine- good to know!

I always bring mine in around 3 pm in winter, whatever the weather. Any later then it starts getting damp.

Oh, and yes I still iron, as do most of my friends.

Ours is still out (it's only been out about 90 minutes) as it's bloody windy right now. It won't get damp in a 35mph wind.

It should be almost dry when we get it in before bed (rain forecast overnight, else it would stay out).
