How many countries have you been to Europe

As long as I can remember, I have had a life long goal to visit every country in Europe.

It is a slow process. I am 41 and so far I have visited 27 out of 44.

Slowly ticking then off. Like a lot of us I dont get a lot of annual leave a year.

How many have you been to?

France
Portugal
Spain
Greece
Estonia
Latvia
Lithuania
Poland
Germany
Denmark
Norway
Finland
Sweden
Italy
Vatican
Netherlands
Czech Republic
Ireland
Uk - Scotland and England

So 19, need to do more in southeast Europe!

All but 7, and now on it to "collect" the last few, with plans for 2 already in (Georgia and Azerbaijan) so 5.
I've got the following to go, some glorious, some less so

• Moldova (sorry, hope someone has something good to say about this country)
• Bosnia and Hercegovinia (probs went as former Yugo, but love to go)
• Montenegro (as above)
• Albania (reasons why earlier, but now open, just haven't had the time)
• Sweden (was going to go, plans changed, will go at some point)

My favourite countries that I have been to are, in no order:
Lithuania, Romania, Macedonia, Norway. Hungary, Poland, also quite liked Serbia
My least favourite countries are, Italy, Bellarus, probably France in parts, Turkey is a mixed bag

I'd love to do this, have you plans to go to the remaining 13? Did you travel a lot for work or was it all your own planning?
