How many countries have you been to Europe

As long as I can remember, I have had a life long goal to visit every country in Europe.

It is a slow process. I am 41 and so far I have visited 27 out of 44.

Slowly ticking then off. Like a lot of us I dont get a lot of annual leave a year.

How many have you been to?

47 and I thought I’d have higher but it’s actually 25 outside the UK. I need to do a big tour of the former Yugoslav states I think, only been to Croatia on that front

are we including Belarus and Russia?
Both are definitely not on my list

England, Southern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, San Marino, Andorra, Malta, Cosica, Sweden, Greece, Italy, Iceland.

I’d Love to visit Norway, Denmark & more of Eastern Europe.

Almost all of them I think bar Croatia/Serbia/Montenegro and Turkey.

We lived in Brussels for 10 years so I did a lot of travelling then, and I studied in Russia, so travelled through the Baltics and Eastern Europe, including EAst Germany and Czechoslovakia as was and I've also been more recently to both Slovakia and Czech Rep. I also worked in retail doing cross border strategies for retailers expanding into Europe so I had to visit all of the major capital and principal cities for various clients over the years.

Lived in Oslo, Amsterdam, Geneva, Brussels and London whilst hubby was on the consultancy circuit for ten years. Amsterdam was the best city by miles then Oslo. Now returned back to Chester.

Travelled most of Europe, indeed globally, as a visitor on holiday.

Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey (?), Austria, Czech Republic, Portugal, Yugoslavia (as was) and Greece.

So only 14

If we are counting Turkey then 13, 14 including the country I live in, but to be fair, for me, visiting Cardiff is like another country.

52 and never been to France? Do go to Paris, it’s a delight.

There are others I’d like to visit, but, equally, some I’ve no desire to go to.

21 I think, but that includes those that no longer exist, such as Yugoslavia.

I counted UK as one so now I realise I’ve visited 39.

38 so far, and working on the rest with my kids. We live in Africa at the moment, so Europe is harder now, but I’d also love to visit all countries in the world!

Same but realistically I’m aiming for 100.

Gawd not many...is Greece in Europe?

I’ve been to every European country and 100+ worldwide.

The majority of the trips have been to watch sporting events.

Hahaha so did we!

They took our passports off us and refused to give them back until we paid. We were shitting our pants but the “fine” was only about 10€ 😆

Amazing place though
