Aunty or Auntie?

Are you an Aunty or an Auntie spelling person? It was Aunty in my household.

I'm an auntie, my aunties are aunties, my great-aunties were aunties.
I've never known anyone to write it as aunty where I'm from (Scotland).

Auntie looks better imo.

But we just used people's names in our family!

I am both to different people - I just went with what they all wanted to use and it happened to be different choices. I don’t mind either, since it’s not actually my name but a title they choose to use for me.

Absolutely me too! It’s the a and u together that suddenly seems so weird!
