Am wondering what the Little Treats actually involve?

Great idea.... Would this only work shopping in store?

We only shop in-store, sorry.

You could log in with his online account if you get deliveries.

I saw loads of the bags in my local Waitrose yesterday. What a lame ‘treat’

IAmUsingTheApplauseReactionSarcastically · 20/05/2026 14:43

They look like the sort of thing you’d have got free with a magazine back in the day. I didn’t bother picking one up.

reluctantbrit · 20/05/2026 15:05

I showed them to my husband yesterday and we both agreed to skip it.

7in1Pond · 20/05/2026 15:13

The bag is horrible, and I say that as a huge fan of Rivals.

PickAChew · 20/05/2026 15:43

At this rate, they'll end up having to pay people totake them off their hands 😂

Sunshineandrainbow · 20/05/2026 16:46

Oh dear not sounding promising. Is it lunch bag size?

No, tote bag/shopping bag style

applegingermint · 20/05/2026 19:49

We received it free and it was on our local buy nothing group within a day. They’re minging.

KnottyKnitting · 20/05/2026 20:24

I do my DFs online shop at Waitrose. Didn’t realise this was a thing until a few weeks ago. He had two GUI cheesecake desserts and this week a large pack of posh prawn cocktail crisps. Both of which he has really enjoyed!

It's not like JLP can't produce nice tote bags. I've had this one for a few years and it's lovely. Cheerful design, practical and sturdy. Shows few signs of wear despite being dragged around on the bus several times a week.

My German MIL bought a shopping bag from Waitrose several years ago on a visit and we have to replace it now as she loves it and uses them several times a week when shopping.

she wouldn’t be happy with the rival one.

EnchantingDecoration · 21/05/2026 19:03

Well, I haven’t actually managed to get to Waitrose yet this month so I think I am safe from being tempted by the bag just because it’s free. Might get to the crisps.

Solitario · 24/05/2026 11:38

The reviews are not good so far, with only one exception. Some interesting comments.

Although I'd prefer cotton or jute, I suppose if the bag had to be plastic at least it is made with recycled plastic bottles. Made in China, wipe clean only, max load 15kg.

What the picture doesn't show is that on the other side of the bag it says 'Decadently scandalously delicious' as well as more ads for Waitrose, Hulu, Rivals and Disney+. The label says 'A tote for carrying delicious indulgences and delicious secrets too'. Who gets paid too much for writing this nonsense?! 😂

StarsTwinklingPomanders · 24/05/2026 11:42

DH got ours and I've just used it ! I wouldn't walk around with it elsewhere but it's fine for the Waitrose in shop shop.

Nifty50something · 24/05/2026 19:31

It's an awful-looking bag and pretty much the antithesis of my style. But I'm keeping it in the boot of the car. On those occasions when I forget to bring bags when I go to Waitrose my penance will be to have to walk around with this monstrosity. Alternatively I may look at whether it's possible to sew patches over it, sort of like quilting it.

fussychica · 26/05/2026 13:59

Been away but should make it to the crisps. I definitely don't want that bag.

If you click on it in your app, you can see the other bags included. Nice jute ones saying saucy, juicy etc.

I think they’re trying to emulate M&S with their ‘rude’ branding. No need!

Beaton234 · 01/06/2026 09:36

I went especially yesterday, to get some of the treats and discounts on my card - and everything I fancied was out of stock
