Persuasion lovely characters, love fanny

P&P: Want to live at Pemberley!

Mansfield Park. The plot is so satisfying.

Mansfield Park and the way all the separate threads come together.

Persuasion. True love never leaves.

Persuasion. Love how Anne blossoms when with people who value her. (And I'd take Captain Wentworth over Darcy any day.)

Persuasion. Capable girls rule!

I just watched Emma - the modern play. It was hilarious! Really want to read the book again

My dd bought me tickets for a re-imagining of Emma last Xmas, I thought it would hate it but it was great fun.

My second choice is Persuasion, beautiful story.

Pride and prejudice. Beautifully observed characters.

Also....Darcy.

I love her take on Vicars but Mrs Elton is my favourite character.

Elinor. Because she is glorious. I also like Colonel Brandon, and I promise I liked him before Alan Rickman….

Sad that I am alone in my love of Sense and Sensibility….

1. Sense and sensibility. Elinor's strength and integrity. 2. Pride and prejudice. It sizzles. 3. Emma. Brilliant piece of writing. In more words- I think Emma is her best piece of writing and shows her at her peak. P&P was my first love of course. But I just cant go past Elinor's strength of character.

Emma - she's so real!

Or, as my gen Z kids would say, she's got aura

P&P just gives me joy every time I read it.
