I keep picking at this but it always grows back

It won’t go away. It just popped up like a month ago and a have the urge to keep trying to pick it constantly and it get it almost flat but it always grows back. It sometimes itches too which makes me pick at it more. I love flip flops and it bothers me when I walk in them so I pick at it a lot. My daughter has a few of these on her foot I noticed a few months ago. Guessing it’s a type of callus from the friction of flip flops/heels. Weird that it’s only on one foot. So I figured I’d ask to make sure.

Have you heard about Verrucas OP?

HelpMeUnpickThis · 06/10/2025 13:28

That is a verruca isnt it?!

ItsNotCricketTim · 06/10/2025 13:28

Verruca indeed.

Feet are so bloody grim. As in feet in general, not targeted at OP.

You (and your daughter) have veruccas.

Fiftyandme · 06/10/2025 13:29

That’s a plantar wart

Blarn · 06/10/2025 13:31

Verucca. Get some treatment for it. Both dds hadbthem when they started swimming (and dh and I did when we were young) but once they cleared up they thankfully have not returned

EarringsandLipstick · 06/10/2025 13:33

This definitely needed a trigger warning 😂

How do you not know it's a verruca?!

Bumdrops · 06/10/2025 13:34

Meet your verruca !!

looks like you have your hoof out in your car ?? 😂

LindorDoubleChoc · 06/10/2025 13:46

FFS.

Wotrewelookinat · 06/10/2025 13:46

It will keep growing back as it has a root that needs treating. Verrucas are caused by a virus and are contagious (bath mats, towels etc).

stargirl27 · 06/10/2025 13:56

I'm sorry but this post and the replies are killing me 😂

It's a verruca, you can get them frozen off.

ComfortFoodCafe · 06/10/2025 14:01

Verruca. Why do you have your feet out in your car? 😂

WorriedRelative · 06/10/2025 14:19

Also don't pick at it, you'll spread it. Treat it properly, the pharmacist can sort you a paint on treatment if you ask at the counter.

vickylou78 · 06/10/2025 14:23

Verruca!!

vickylou78 · 06/10/2025 14:25

Get treatment on it quickly while it's small. Don't pick at it or it will spread as infectious.

stripeymonster · 06/10/2025 14:53

Please do not post foot photos without a warning!

It's not like it's a fanny 😂 to echo everyone else, it's a verruca. As probably are your daughters. Have you never seen one before?

CryptoFascist · 06/10/2025 15:13

Well I’m leaving it because it doesn’t bother me that much. I don’t care that it’s contagious. They don’t hurt anybody if they get them too

So…. I don’t care and I’m not going to do anything for or my daughters verrucas. The don’t hurt anything
