How’s your Friday night looking?

I’ve just had an early dinner of a takeaway halloumi wrap and chips. No plans tonight so contemplating finding something to watch on Netflix or reading some of my book.

What are you up to?

Ahhhhhh.. I’m sorry..😔. I’m two weeks ahead of you ( went to Scottish Uni)…, but, it does get a bit easier. For tonight, I prescribe putting yourself first, treating yourself with fab food ( try to eat 🤞), and an ice cold glass of whatever you fancy . And, give yourself a high bloody five for getting him there!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 !! ( and, I don’t just mean logistically!!) 😸

We’ve had a busy afternoon, cooked fajitas, kids helping themselves to what they’d like inside their wraps. Apple pie bubbling away in the oven.

We’re all watching K Pop Demon Hunters for what seems like the 10th time.

Not a late night for us as we have an early morning wake up to cycle.

I have had no end of work stress and now have a taxi booked for 3.30 am. Tomorrow Italy and everyone can fuck off :)

Been sick most of the week, finally feeling a bit perkier. Fancied plain old chip shop fishcakes so had them, listening to a soul show online and heading to Brighton to move middle Goblin into his post graduate studio tomorrow.
Deacon Blue playing at Brighton Centre tomorrow night so last min tickets to see them, why not!!

Dinner was Squash and sage risotto and I'm just about to make tea and have some of the apple cake I made earlier. Will watch something on Mubi with DH and got to bed and read if it's not to late.

I WFH on a Friday so was straight into a bubble bath when I logged off. Burgers (veggie for me) and chips for dinner, and I’m now catching up on Corrie while DP’s fannying about on his laptop in the spare room. The cat’s curled up in his basket by the radiator as I’ve put the heating on, and I have a nice candle lit - it feels very autumnal!

We have been celebrating our gd's 2nd birthday from late afternoon until her bedtime at 7 then back home - me sorting car insurance and dh watching golf. In bed now warmed by electric blanket.

Isn’t it fab? I got goosebumps!

Envious of all the sunny threads - it was grey & dull in Cornwall 😢
