There is a lot of outdoor furniture. I know I say this every time, but don't people with all that going on outside live in fear of rain? It would take ages to collect it all in and put it 'somewhere' (there never seem to be storage facilities for huge teak tables and canvas chairs), by which time the sun may have come out, and you'd be ready to collapse onto the lounger you've just folded and put away. There is always garden furniture aplenty, but never wardrobes or bedroom storage on show, so it's hard to picture actually living there. Do you get dressed from a pile on the floor and head outside for the day? That might work for a couple of weeks in July, but won't be great in November - or for most of the year.
@ResusciAnnie is it connected to the outside world? The Omaze houses are so often isolated, and I like to be in walking distance of facilities - at least a pub/restaurant and a supermarket or corner shop, but preferably a town centre.
Pools and gyms put me off. I could repurpose the gym, but outdoor pools seem like too much work for too little return in the UK.
So for me the jury is still out. I wouldn't turn it down if I won, but it's far from being a favourite. I wish they'd move from the flat roof/glass style more often.
