But the march supporters are doing plenty of gaslighting themselves by claiming huge numbers, suggesting more people are supportive of Yaxley-Lennon, suggesting none of the marchers are racist, that those who don't support the march are against free speech and for unfettered immigration.
That those of us who read MSM are sheep and being lied to (at least MSM are covered by press regs, which keyboard warriors on SM don't have to think about).
There seems to be, from various FB accounts I've seen, a correlation between supporters of the march, climate change denial, vaccine refusal. Going diametrically against experts with years of experience and study in vaccine medecine and climate science to take their truth from, well, who? Someone drunk in charge of a keyboard. We're already seeing the growth in easily preventable disease due to vaccine scepticism. Education is becoming increasingly undervalued along with critical thinking.
Don't get me wrong, the BBC, Guardian, Times etcaren't perfect, but at least have SOME transparency, and due diligence and a responsibility towards their consumers, which the purveyors of 'news' on SM do not have.
