noblegiraffe · 13/09/2025 19:35

Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

The lies people tell themselves is both incredible and terrifying.

Yeah, it worries me too.
Especially because I have adult children, living in this shit show. Where fellow countrymen lie and deceive and gaslight.

Seriously, I do worry about my family.

cardibach · 15/09/2025 16:25

Petitchat · 15/09/2025 16:22

Well I'm convinced.
It's bloody obvious but if you want to believe the police and the mainstream media, hey ho. So be it.

What about the calculations provided by me and @poetryandwine ? How do you see them?
Why would eg the Mail downplay the march when they hate both the government and refugees? Why wouldn’t foreign media report accurately? It makes no sense. The MSM outlets do all have biases, it’s true, but all you have to do is look at a range and be aware of the bias. It makes no sense to believe none of them. That’s conspiracy talk.

The BBC are now saying 'more than 150k'.

The problem is the drone/helicopter footage doesn't show the road at the end. The march started at Waterloo (it's the Waterloo IMAX at the start of the video) and that's the tailend of the demonstration.

Without seeing how far the march has progressed at that point, we can't give an accurate estimate on numbers. If it continued like that all the way to Whitehall, then it would definitely be over a million. If the crowd had only just turned the corner, then maybe 150k is a fair number.

Yep, but try telling that to the anti freedom marchers.

How long do you think it took the marchers to cross Westminster Bridge then? As @cardibach just said, even packed in like sardines, twice as crowded as professional soldiers, it would take 1,000,000 people over 5 hours to cross. It did not.

Give us the maths for getting 1,000,000 people across that bridge in the time you think it took them.

Again, me too. But it’s the ones claiming massive numbers with no evidence but their wish for it to be so, and the ones who would go on a march started by a racist thing which worry me.

I am afraid we had better get used to these marches... the one on Saturday was so successful that plenty more are in the pipeline. Many people on Saturday did not go and just watched online, because they were frightened of violence, bad weather or lack of toilets!

The march on Saturday was mostly peaceful.......Yes I know 26 policemen got, hurt, but compare that to the 55 assaults on police during Carnival 2025. 24 arrests were made compared to the 420–500+ arrests at the Carnival, and no one got stabbed!
Next time I believe TR is going to organise a march will be in a park or a stadium. So everyone attending can hear him and his speakers .......and then the media cannot downplay the numbers attending.

Good luck to SYL finding a stadium willing to let him hire it. And the weather is not going to be conducive for a park rally for the next several months. And again, which council would be willing to hire out their space to him? Not even a Reform-led one would be willing.

Another post you should have fact checked.

Musk said ‘Violence is coming, you either fight back or you die.’

Now pretend he didn’t mean violence.

Violence is coming from who though?

My thought exactly, @2dogsandabudgie
What on earth is he on about?

What about you? Are you going to apologise to @MrsSkylerWhite for misrepresenting what she said and for getting offended that she accurately described your parents as immigrants?

Did you enjoy watching the protests in Spain about people like your parents?

nomas · 15/09/2025 16:35

2dogsandabudgie · 15/09/2025 16:29

Violence is coming from who though?

Who are the ones who tried to burn down a hotel in Southport? Who are the ones who injured 26 police officers on Saturday? The far right.

Lemonandorangecheescake · 15/09/2025 16:36

Nagginthenag · 15/09/2025 14:08

'Why not look into your own thought process and ask yourself why you can't fathom out that people supportive of the march aren't racists or fascists,'

What, none of them? Not a single racist among the 3 million (😁) marchers?

Are you agreeing that there were far more marchers than 150,000 then?

cardibach · 15/09/2025 16:36

Lemonandorangecheescake · 15/09/2025 16:36

Are you agreeing that there were far more marchers than 150,000 then?

You can’t be this unable to read a simple post, surely?

Who are the ones who tried to burn down a hotel in Southport? Who are the ones who injured 26 police officers on Saturday? The far right.

So who is Musk telling to fight back or you die?

Pieceofpurplesky · 15/09/2025 16:39

I do wonder if the press were as disinterested in Labour's mistakes as they were in the Tory's - would we be in such a place of hatred?
Also Fuck Off Musk and co

Lemonandorangecheescake · 15/09/2025 16:43

nomas · 15/09/2025 14:22

Yeah, sure, I'm sure the 26 injured policemen were ecstatic.

It was good the far right yobs were corralled in one place, gave ethnic minorities a day without yobs near them for a change.

The only yobs I saw were the anti protesters goading the marchers

Lemonandorangecheescake · 15/09/2025 16:43

Odd that they didn’t get arrested or injure the police but the marchers did then. Plus they shouldn’t have been near the anti protestors. It was marchers who breached the sterile zone.

nomas · 15/09/2025 16:46

2dogsandabudgie · 15/09/2025 16:37

He is telling his far right fanbois to keep being violent rioters.

I read online (sorry no link available) that just over half the arrests were actually counter protesters.

Yes. Fuck off Elon.

Where? In Southport? I can’t find any reference to that with a quick search. Where online did you read it? Someone's SM wish or a reputable source?

That doesn't really make sense though does it with what he is quoted as saying.

I think they're referring to Saturday's march.

I'm still waiting for the apology for the nasty ageist comment.

As you well know, the insult was ageism and had nothing to do with my parents emigrating.

Lemonandorangecheescake · 15/09/2025 17:00

80smonster · 15/09/2025 14:46

But you don’t stand with the majority, as proved by the turn out at the protest, the numbers mentioned are absolutely tiny. 150,000 is just a bunch of racists who have trained in from other regions with the intent of making a nuisance of themselves. Injuring police officers is abhorrent behaviour whichever way you see things. Your ignorance (and your family’s by the sounds of things) is astounding. What happened in your life to make you so bitter and vengeful? I’m guessing you possibly aren’t very well educated? Your debating skills and ability to field questions with facts speak volumes.

Whether I'm well educated or not (and it's absolutely nothing to do with you what qualifications I've got), I've got common sense, but you can't clearly can't comprehend the fact that just because people weren't physically at the march, it doesn't mean that they weren't supportive of it.

Your reasoning is like saying only people who are actually in attendance in the stadium at a World cup football match are supporting the game, yet millions of people are supporting the game just as much if they're at home, at work, or wherever they may be, if they support football and want their team to win.
I'm astonished that you and a couple of other posters can't seem to grasp this simple fact.
By the way, there was way more than 150,000 people there too, just admit it. You can deny things all you want to other people, but you can't deny things to yourself,

Oh, I'm bitter and vengeful too am I? What's the real issue, have I hit a nerve with you?
