Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

@noblegiraffe I’m amazed no one pulled the plug! There’s free speech and there’s uncalled for interference. Agreed - Musk isn’t part of our politics. As for idiots buying his cars!? Why?

I am very supportive of Musk, in particular, expressing an interest in UK politics.

You know that if you put every single asylum seeker from the asylum accommodation into Wembley Stadium it wouldn’t be half full, yes? And that asylum seekers make up only 13% of immigration, with the small boats being less than 2%of it? And that net immigration halved last year?
You are focusing on the wrong thing. As @Ratafia says, immigration isn’t the reason for things going to shit. Underinvestment and the increasing inequality between the 1z and the rest of us are what’s causing the problem.

Because he’s not a citizen so our democracy is nothing to do with him. The irony of someone who wants to get rid of a democratically elected government defending their love for international interference in the democratic process by saying we are a democracy is off the scale. And a challenging bit of mental gymnastics.

You would be wrong (ignoring your incorrect use of the word illegal). I live near migrant accommodation and have volunteered with and taught asylum seekers. They’re a lot less scary and intimidating than most of the people I’ve seen protesting them.

This. Telling everyone who doesn’t agree with you to “fuck off” is why we are where we are in this country and in the West more generally. Tommy R is not everyone’s cup of tea, including mine. But calling what took place yesterday was a “Racist march” is foolish and untrue and incredibly unfair to the vast majorly of regular folk who showed up, non-violently to show their support for the country of Great Britain and feel a sense of unity and identity around being British. There’s is nothing wrong with feeling a sense towards national identity.

Not sure what relevance that has on a thread telling Elon Musk who is not an immigrant to fuck off meddling in our politics.

But I have given it some thought

1. given birth to me (same as Tommy Robinson)
2. been colleagues at work
3. sat in my classes and learned maths (quite a few immigrants in my A-level maths class this year)
4. 3 out of the last 4 maths teachers I trained were immigrants, so they're holding up the maths education system
5. been my dentist

Nobody on here is telling everyone to fuck off. Just Musk and SYL - Musk because it’s none of his business and SYL because he’s a violent racist thug.
It was a racist march as can be seen from the speeches. I’d give a bit of benefit of the doubt to some marchers, but honestly if a march is organised by SYL you know it’s racist. I hope the non racist ones who got taken in were thoroughly disgusted with the content of some of those speeches and think again about who they ally themselves with. Have concerns about policy, fine. But don’t express them by giving support to racists. Try engaging with democracy. Write to your MP. Stand for office. Try improving your own area with community events to promote cohesion. Don’t go off supporting a thug like SYL.

I'm not telling Elon Musk to fuck off because I don't agree with him, I'm telling him to fuck off because he is a foreigner trying to meddle in the politics of our country. And worse than that, calling for violence to achieve his aims.
