What do you watch first thing in a morning?

I don’t think I actually watch anything before midday, unless it’s a clip a family member sends me!
I’ll stream music or R4 (as long as it’s not the bloody Archers) though, don’t have any particular habit or preference which.

I catch up on a series I’m watching usually. Sometimes I listen to music instead but never just silence. I watch on my tablet whilst I’m getting ready.

It’s not snob value. TV used to be all there was.
Now people will check their phones for MN / Facebook/ Insta or Tik Tok whilst getting up.

Morning TV is very dependent on a few regular presenters - seems very limiting these days.

Not one person has suggested that watching TV in the morning is 'common' or 'low class'. We're all different and we have the right to choose what we watch and when.

Radio 5live if the subject of the phone-in is interesting i.e not sport. or Radio 4 Extra.

It’s not that I don’t watch tv…I love tv. But in the morning I’m going to work so there’s no time for tv.

Nothing. I have 45 mins from waking up to getting out of the house and it's a well oiled machine - no time for TV.
Radio 2 in the car on the way to work.

I read the news do crosswords. I'll watch/listen to whatever I'm streaming during the morning while dressing, doing housework etc. TV doesn't go on till lunchtime for DH to watch.

Erm…the coffee pot brewing, dogs weeing in the park opposite; our cats playing. I may stick air pods in while peeling a kiwi and emptying the dishwasher, but I don’t usually watch anything.

Nothing, TV is a night time activity for me. I have five live on all day though

Ooh, I'm fascinated by this. I would never turn the TV on in the morning, or the radio, I like quiet. And I don't start work until 11am so I would have time.
When the kids were little we did watch Cbeebies first thing and I did grow up in a house where the TV was on constantly in the background even when no one was watching.

BBC breakfast is on between 6:30 - 7:30 ish in our house but tend to only catch snippets while getting ready.

Nothing in the week, I like quiet when getting ready for work. But at the weekend, if one of the kids hasn’t got there first, I love to eat my breakfast and drink my tea to escape to the country / location location / grand designs / love it or list it. It’s my comfort viewing.

Never watch tv during the day. R4 for news.
