Bbc breakfast

OP posts:

I don’t watch tv on work days, I listen to the radio whilst I get ready to leave. On days off I tend to watch some YouTube with a coffee before tackling the day.

Solo · 06/09/2025 19:19

The porridge, and the time, then the speedo! Grin

Thewalrusandthecarpenter · 06/09/2025 19:20

Classic Emmerdale at 6am on ITV3

RedRec · 06/09/2025 19:21

I put BBC Breakfast on as soon as I get up. Apart from Saturdays when I wake up at 6am to listen to Tony Blackburn's Sounds of the Sixties on Radio Two.

Netcurtainnelly · 06/09/2025 19:24

The radio.

Dunnocantthinkofone · 06/09/2025 19:25

It would honestly not occur to me to watch anything until at least lunchtime - more usually 3pm

MsCrawford · 06/09/2025 19:26

GMB as I get ready and do the packed lunches- but I listen - don’t stop and watch. Then in the car to work it’s silence

DustyMaiden · 06/09/2025 19:29

nothkng until 7pm, when we search the streaming platforms we pay a fortune for and give up,

CatAsstrophe · 06/09/2025 19:29

Nothing. TV doesn't go on until around 6 - 7pm

Newdoggo · 06/09/2025 19:29

Soaps from the night before or classic Eastenders on IPlayer, used to watch the news but chose to bury my head in the sand instead

RaininSummer · 06/09/2025 19:31

Never have TV on in the morning as not something I have ever done but do listen to radio 4 Today programme whilst getting ready for work.

SunnyD4ys · 06/09/2025 18:40

Norhing, why do you assume everyone watches things in the morning, that's not normal is it?

OP says absolutely NOWHERE that she assumes everyone does.

The title is clear it’s asking what you watch sinister a safe assumption if you don’t watch anything you wouldn’t open it.

You seem angry about the question though - are you ok?

Mikart · 06/09/2025 19:37

Nothing. No tv till 7pm

I haven't watched morning TV since Bill & Sian stopped presenting the BBC news together (RIP Bill🐝)

Ditto, though more likely 8oclock after the soaps.

WinterFrogs · 06/09/2025 19:46

BotterMon · 06/09/2025 18:39

The birds in the garden whilst drinking a coffee.

I love doing this ❤️

Lovetocook49 · 06/09/2025 19:47

We watch BBC news but on catch up to fast forward over anything that has piano music playing in the background!

WinterFrogs · 06/09/2025 19:49

I used to work for an elderly lady who would have old episodes of soaps on when I arrived at 7am. It was really quite soothing!

Zov · 06/09/2025 19:54

Usually something I have recorded the night before. (A crime drama, or a soap opera, or some drama, or documentary.)

Lots of people claiming they watch BBC Breakfast time/BBC news... LOL why? It's soooo boring! 💤😴

ByQuaintAzureWasp · 06/09/2025 19:55

The birds

madaboutpurple · 06/09/2025 19:59

I am retired so tend to watch BBC for news, then Lorraine and then This Morning. give that a break while Pop master is on Greatest Hits radio but will have This Morning screen on and sound turned down and just the script on . The words are often not spelt correctly and that can be funny. After Pop master I return fully to This Morning. . .

Evasmissingletter · 06/09/2025 20:12

Nothing

TV is definitely an evening or night time thing for me, unless I’m ill at home.

I remember when I used to run early in the morning when it was still dark and being really taken aback that so many people had their tv on as soon as they got up. It would just never occur to me.
